    摘要: An LCD and a touch display panel that can be integrated in the LCD are provided. The touch display panel comprises an active device matrix substrate that includes multiple sensing lines disposed on multiple data lines correspondingly and arranged parallel thereto, and multiple sensing devices formed on multiple scan lines. When an external pressure is exerted, a current is generated in the sensing lines, and the X and Y coordinates of the touch point is determined from a slight leakage current generated in the scan lines. The conventional external touch screen LCD device is substantially improved in response accuracy of the touch coordinates, material costs, and mechanical thickness.

    摘要: A contrast control device is provided. The device of the invention includes a detecting unit, a judging unit, a backlight control unit, a gain generating unit and a contrast gain processing unit. The detecting unit calculates an average value and detects a maximum value of a current image. The judging unit generates a gain index and a brightness index according to the average value. The backlight control unit generates a backlight control signal according to the brightness index. The gain generating unit generates a first contrast gain value and a soft-clamping gain value according to the gain index, the average value and the maximum value and then selects one from the first contrast gain value and the soft-clamping gain value for output as a second contrast gain value according to an input pixel value of the current image. The contrast gain processing unit generates an output pixel value according to the second contrast gain value and the input pixel value.

A module for generating multiple-resolution video streams as well as the architecture thereof for use with a video encoder includes a system bus, an external memory and a main processor. The main processor and the external memory are coupled to the system bus. The main processor includes a microprocessor, a main arithmetic unit and a secondary arithmetic unit. By applying the present invention, a less time-consuming arithmetic module can synchronously perform together with a more time-consuming arithmetic module, thereby reducing idle time and increasing hardware efficiency and parallelism.
