摘要： An edge peer device, includes a first peer device connection management unit for allowing the edge peer device to participate in a peer-to-peer (P2P) network, and establishing a pipe connection to other edge peer device or the PAN gateway device to transmit or receive contents; a first peer device authentication unit for performing authentication of the edge peer device and PAN gateway device; and a first advertisement management unit for generating and storing advertisements and indexing the generated advertisements to transmit the indexed advertisements to the super peer device. Further, the edge peer device includes a first PAN device management unit for requesting and receiving a list of PAN devices from the PAN gateway device to manage the PAN device list; a first PAN service management unit for managing and providing services included in the PAN device list; and a first P2P communication unit for performing P2P communication with the super peer device and other peer devices.

摘要： A settop box based on an IPTV according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a home network interface communicating with one or more mobile terminals; a terminal profile manager acquiring and managing a terminal profile from a mobile terminal connected through the home network interface; a contents converter converting contents received from an external contents server through an external network to mobile contents suitable for the corresponding mobile terminal on the basis of the acquired terminal profile; a contents storage storing the contents converted by the contents converter; and a transmitting/receiving controller performing a processing operation to extract the mobile contents stored in the contents storage and transmit the extracted mobile contents to the mobile terminal through the home network interface in accordance with a request from a user.

摘要： A dynamic user interface (UI) system and method is provided for remote controlling of a legacy device, which is not compatible with a peer-to-peer (P2P) middleware, through a P2P network. The dynamic UI system of the present includes at least one legacy device, a proxy for registering and managing the at least one legacy device and supporting a dynamic remote control user interface using a multi legacy device control protocol, and an edge peer for downloading the dynamic remote control user interface from the proxy and requesting control of the at least one legacy device to the proxy.

摘要： A method of creating a security group over a Peer-To-Peer (P2P) network is disclosed. An invitee terminal attaches a public key to a peer advertisement in which its own identification information is encrypted using its own private key, and then sends a resulting peer advertisement over the P2P network. An inviter terminal, which has found the peer advertisement, encrypts a group advertisement, including group information about the security group, using public keys of the corresponding invitee terminal, and then sends a resulting group advertisement to the invitee terminal desired to be invited to the security group. The invitee terminal decrypts the group advertisement using its own private key, and participates in the security group using the group information.
