Abstract:
The present invention particularly relates to a method and an apparatus for improving the efficiency of data transmission in a multi-user wireless transmission system. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method, which is a transmission method of data in a multi-user wireless communication system, comprises the steps of: estimating channel states of each terminal through sounding or feedback information received from the terminals, and selecting terminals to which individual data are to be transmitted at the same time; determining a signal to noise ratio of the selected terminals, and calculating a precoding matrix; calculating a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) of each terminal and the number of symbols of data fields in accordance with the MCS of each terminal; dividing an area according to the number of terminals to which the data fields are to be simultaneously transmitted, if there are two or more selected terminals; and recalculating a reception signal to interference and noise ratio (SINR) for each area of each terminal, configuring a packet by resetting the MCS according to the recalculated SINR, and transmitting the configured packet.
Abstract:
A method for simultaneously transmitting packets having different lengths to two or more users in a wireless communication system includes: generating the packets to transmit to the respective users, the packets containing information on the maximum transmission length of the packets having different lengths; and simultaneously transmitting the generated packets to the respective users. The maximum transmission length is represented by the number of symbols, and each of the packets sequentially contains control information required for transmitting the packet, data, a tail field, and a PHY pad field, and is generated by inserting a MAC pad between the control information and the data such that the tail field and the PHY pad field are positioned at the last byte of the last symbol of the maximum transmission length.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for allocating a group address in a wireless LAN, a method for transmitting a response request frame and a response frame to a plurality of terminals, and a data transmission method using the same group address. The method for allocating the group address of the present invention comprises the steps of: transmitting a group agreement request frame including the group address (identifier) to terminals as grouping targets; and receiving a response frame corresponding to the group agreement request frame. The group agreement request frame includes group address (identifier) information and a terminal address as a destination address and is transmitted to a receiving terminal as a destination.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for transmitting control and training symbols to improve transmission efficiency in a multi-user wireless communication system. The method for transmitting the control and training symbols in the multi-user wireless communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: determining whether a required transmission rate of each data can be satisfied through channel estimation in each of terminals when different data are simultaneously transmitted to each of the terminals; and transmitting a data frame to each of the terminals, the data frame being composed to discriminate the control and training symbols in each of the terminals using a combination of time, frequency, and code area when the required transmission rate of each data is not satisfied according to the determined result.
Abstract:
The present invention relate to a wireless communication system; and, more particularly, to a communicating apparatus and method in a high rate wireless communication system.A transmitting method of data in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, as a transmitting method of data in a high rate wireless communication system, includes: allocating one or more bands among two or more multi-bands to each of users; and simultaneously transmitting data through the allocated bands to two or more users by using the multiple antennas for the allocated respective bands.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for protecting MU-MIMO (Multi User-Multiple Input Multiple Output) data through a multi-RTS/CTS frame exchange in a MU-MIMO based wireless communication system. The method of the present invention comprises: a process where an indicator for VHT data protection is added to an RTS frame, using the structure of an RTS/CTS frame for an existing legacy terminal during the multi RTS/CTS frame exchange; a process where an access point designates and then transmits the duration period of the RTS frame while transmitting the RTS frame; and a process where wireless terminals up to the (n−1)th terminal designate the duration period of the CTS frame as ‘0’ and send the designated duration period, while only the n-th wireless terminal designates NAV for data protection.
Abstract:
An apparatus for acquiring synchronization in a multi-channel system includes a signal reception unit for receiving information about repetition patterns of signal streams for each channel and receiving the signal streams and data from the channel, an estimated synchronization point tracking unit for determining a estimated synchronization point for the channel from a point of time where the repetition patterns are ended by tracking a period where the signal streams are repeated based on the repetition patterns, and a synchronization acquisition unit for searching, based on the estimated synchronization point related to the channel, for a point where the repetition of the signal stream is ended or a point where new signal streams are started and acquiring a synchronization point based on the point.
