    摘要: The knee joint prosthesis includes a tibial component and a femoral component. The tibial component has a top surface, a bottom surface opposite to the top surface and a first slot passing through the top surface and the bottom surface for accommodating a cruciate ligament. The tibial component has at least one first protrusion disposed on the bottom surface. The femoral component is carried by the tibial component and has a second slot for accommodating the cruciate ligament. The femoral component has at least one second protrusion disposed on a surface thereof opposite to the tibial component. The at least one first protrusion includes a receded incision positioned on a rear edge of the at least one first protrusion and the receded incision is receded in a direction from posterior to anterior.

    摘要: A storage container includes a cover portion, a body portion disposed below the cover portion so as to form a storage space together with the cover portion for storing an end of an article therein, and a connecting portion connecting the cover portion and the body portion to each other and imparting a tensile force in an opening direction when the cover portion is moved in an opening direction with respect to the body portion and a tensile force in a closing direction when the cover portion is moved in a closing direction with respect to the body portion. The storage container can be provided in which a cover portion and a body portion are included, and a connecting portion is included inside the storage container to impart tensile force in connection with the cover portion. Thus, storing and withdrawing articles can be done conveniently.

    摘要: The present invention discloses an approximately π-shaped improved bone plate structure, fixed on a bone of an animal for maintaining the relative positions of different portions of the bone. One of the other features of the present invention is that bone plate structure comprises at least one contouring portion for allowing the surgeons to intra-operatively adjusting the shape in accordance with the shape of the bone. Furthermore, the present invention may fit the bone with multi-axis, decreasing stress concentration, preventing the opening portion from being unsuitably covered and preventing the wound deformation from being pressed.

    摘要: Ionic mesogenic compounds of formula (I) can be used to form liquid crystal displays, such as ferroelectric liquid crystal displays, having enhanced anti-image sticking properties. The mesogenic compounds may contain a cationic group such as an ammonium or phosphonium group bonded to an alkyl chain that is terminally bonded to a para-substituted pyrimidyl benzene moiety. The counterion can be an organic or inorganic anion. The compounds can be used either as dopants in art ferroelectric liquid crystal compositions to reduce image sticking, or can be used as the primary or predominant component of a liquid crystal display system. Additional compounds, devices, and methods are disclosed.

    摘要: Methods and compositions for detecting tumor origin are disclosed. In certain embodiments, the origin is determined by detecting expression levels of pan-epithelial membrane mucin (MUC1), intestinal-type secretory mucin (MUC2), cytokeratin 17 (CK17), or a combination thereof. Also disclosed are methods for aiding in the determination of an appropriate course of treatment for a subject with a tumor, or for predicting a therapeutic outcome of a subject, based on the expression levels of MUC1, MUC2, CK17, or a combination thereof. Kits for use in each of these methods are also provided.

    摘要: A dome switch integrated touch window for a mobile terminal includes a lower substrate, a dome switch, a spacer sheet, and an upper substrate. A dome switch is disposed on a lower substrate to correspond to a contact terminal. The dome switch extends through a spacer sheet and an upper substrate disposed on the spacer sheet. The dome switch is covered by a design film. The dome switch includes an operation member having a resilient base disposed over the contact terminal and a resilient protrusion projecting from the resilient base, and a dome disposed between the operation member and the lower substrate. The operation member may have an upwardly concaved dome-shaped groove to receive the dome.
