摘要: The invention relates to injection needle melt-off apparatuses that allow the life of the electrode rollers to be extended and processing costs to be reduced. An injection needle melt-off apparatus is made up of: a melt-off mechanism including two electrode rollers that can come into contact with the injection needle of a syringe, a rotational driving mechanism for rotating the electrode rollers, and a power application mechanism for applying electric power to the electrode rollers; a guide mechanism including a retaining member for holding the syringe and a guide member for engaging the retaining member and guiding the retaining member toward the electrode rollers so as to bring the injection needle of the syringe into contact with the electrode rollers; and a position adjustment mechanism for adjusting the relative positional relationship between the melt-off mechanism and the guide mechanism along the electrode-rollers axe so as to shift the position where the injection needle of the syringe comes into contact with the electrode rollers.

摘要: The present invention relates to a mandrel for use in manufacturing a container in which the mandrel includes a mandrel body in the shape of a cylinder, recessed portions located about the circumference of the mandrel body forming it into a polygon with inwardly depressed sides forming curved surfaces thereabout, and connecting portions separating the recessed portions and located substantially at the cylindrical outer surface of the mandrel, as well as a central channel in the mandrel and apertures located within the recessed portions and connecting them with the central channel so that a vacuum can be applied through the apertures to conform a container body placed on the outer surface of the mandrel to the shape of the mandrel.

摘要: A sterilizing apparatus for sterilizing a hollow prism-shaped carton open at both ends includes a sterilizing station, a drying station, and a solution-removing station located between the sterilizing station and the drying station. The solution-removing station has a solution-removing device which rotates intermittently in synchronism with carton conveyers. The solution-removing device includes a plurality of thin and long mandrels extending in a radial direction and spaced apart from each other at regular intervals. Each mandrel supports a carton and has a nozzle which supplies the aseptic air from an aseptic air source into the carton.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a container for filling with juice or the like at a high temperature includes applying a container body to a mandrel having an outer surface corresponding to the shape of a cylinder and a plurality of recessed portions located about the circumference of the mandrel. The recessed portions are inwardly recessed from the substantially cylindrical outer surface and are separated by a plurality of connecting portions corresponding substantially to the cylindrical outer surface. The container body is subjected to vacuum attraction through a plurality of apertures provided in the mandrel whereby the container body is drawn into the plurality of recessed portions to conform the shape of the container body to the shape of the mandrel. The container is thereafter disengaged from the mandrel by feeding compressed air through the plurality of apertures of the mandrel.
