    摘要: An electric storage device includes an outer covering, an external terminal having an exposed face exposed outside from the outer covering, a current collector disposed inside the outer covering and connected to the external terminal, and an electrode assembly disposed inside the outer covering and connected to the current collector. The outer covering has a plurality of protrusions protruding outward. The device further includes gasket which has a main body disposed between the external terminal and the outer covering and a plurality of projecting portions respectively extending from the main body and having insertion holes through which the respective protrusions of the outer covering are inserted. The respective protrusions are joined to the outer covering by swaging after respectively inserted through the insertion holes in the respective projecting portions.

    摘要: There is provided an electric storage element and a production method thereof. The electric storage element has excellent air tightness at a portion connected with an external terminal and realizes high assembling performance, even in a simple configuration. The electric storage element includes casings, an external terminal that has a surface exposed outward from one of the casings, a current collector that is provided inside the casings and is connected to the external terminal, and an electrode assembly that is provided inside the casings and is connected to the current collector. The casings are provided with a through hole. The external terminal includes a flange in contact with an outer surface of one of the casings, and a first shaft that extends from the flange to be inserted into the through hole in one of the casings and be welded over the entire periphery.

    摘要: A battery includes current collectors for electrically connecting a power generating element contained inside of a battery case to external terminals, respectively. A caulking head of a rivet for fixing the negative current collector to a cover is contained in a engagement recess which is a space inside of a engagement receiving portion in the cover. The positive current collector is caulked to the cover via a shaft of the positive external terminal. A caulking head at a tip end of the shaft is contained in the engagement recess which is a space defined inside of the engagement receiving portion. The caulking heads do not project from a lower surface of the cover, and therefore, a clearance space defined between the power generating element and the cover is set to the minimum.

The current collector has a first end connected to the positive electrode or the negative electrode and a second end electrically connected to an inner surface of the case. The conductive member includes a body and an inside large-diameter portion having a larger diameter than that of the body. The body is arranged in a mounting hole of the case. The inside large-diameter portion is disposed at one end of the body inside the case, and electrically connected to a second end of the current collector. The inside large-diameter portion is arranged so as to be in contact with an inner gasket such that the inner gasket and the second end of the current collector are sandwiched between the inside large-diameter portion and the case.

    摘要: The present invention provides a battery including a rivet either inserted into a through hole defined in a lid of a battery case with gaskets and interposed therebetween, the rivet connecting a current collector connected to a power generating element within the battery case and an external terminal. One end of the rivet in the axial direction is connected to the current collector, and provided with a tubular portion recessed in the axial direction, the tubular portion is defined in one of such manners that a bottom surface of the tubular portion reaches the lid of the battery case and that the bottom surface is positioned on a side of the other end beyond the lid of the battery case, and a thickness of the tubular portion increases from the one end toward the other end.
