    摘要: A capacitive type touch sensor appropriately detecting an object, and a display and an electronic device including such a touch sensor are provided. The display including a drive electrode receiving a drive signal, a detection electrode located adjacent to the drive electrode, and a dielectric material located between the drive electrode and the detection electrode defining a capacitive area. The detection electrode generates an output signal driven by the drive signal, a detection circuit electrically connected to the detection electrode sensing the output signal. A switch element is electrically connected between the detection electrode and a voltage source providing a predefined voltage level and having a first state and a second state. A display control circuit controls a voltage applied between a display common voltage electrode and a pixel electrode to display an image based on an image signal, and the display common voltage electrode serves as the drive electrode.

    摘要: An information input device includes a touch panel which is provided with a touch sensor capable of sensing a position in which a sensing target body is close to a sensing surface thereof. The touch sensor includes a scanning electrode and a detection electrode which faces and is spaced from the scanning electrode with a dielectric body being interposed therebetween, the touch sensor being configured so that electrostatic capacitance which is formed between the scanning electrode and the detection electrode is varied when the sensing target body is close to the detection electrode. The detection electrode is formed with a slit in a surface thereof which faces the scanning electrode, and a floating electrode is installed in the slit.

    摘要: A display device is provided including a photosensor PS that detects the ambient light amount of a display area, a comparator that compares the output of the photosensor PS with a predetermined reference value, and a backlight controller that controls the amount of light supplied to the display area depending on a comparison result by the comparator, a switch SW for controlling application of a precharge potential is connected to a metal that exists near the light-receiving part of the photosensor PS with the intermediary of an insulating film. The embodiment apparently decreases the parasitic capacitance of the detection element to thereby suppress the influence of the parasitic capacitance of the detection element itself at the time of light amount detection.

The plastic working system includes: a loop correction sensor 13 for watching a slack of a coil material C intermittently delivered from a preceding first press device 2a; and a second slack watching means 19 for watching a slack of the coil material C generated at the time of sending the coil material C to a succeeding second press device 2b. According to the slack generated by intermittent feeding of the coil material C sent from the first press device 2a, intermittent feeding is converted to continuous feeding by the feeding means 15. At the same time, the continuous feeding speed is subjected to speed increasing/decreasing control. On the other hand, by the second slack watching means 19, a slack of the coil material C is watched at the time of feeding the coil material C to the second press device 2b and the preceding first press device 2a is subjected to speed increasing/decreasing control.
