The method includes estimating the slippage variation in output of one rolling stand; and correcting the rotation speed of the rolls of at least one corrected rolling stand based on the estimated slippage variation.

    摘要: A system for on-line property prediction for hot rolled coils in a hot strip mill of a steel plant, including a unit for capturing the chemistry from the steel making stage and providing the data on rolling schedule. Field devices are provided at the instrumentation level for measuring process parameters during hot rolling. A programmable logic controller is used for acquiring data of measured parameters from the field devices and feeding the data to a processor. Means is provided for conversion of the measured data from time domain to space domain using segment tracking. A computation module processes the converted space domain data for predicting mechanical properties along the length and through the thickness of the strip being rolled. A display unit displays the predicted properties. The data obtained can be stored in a data warehouse for future use. A unit provided in the system can collect the predicted properties and feed the same to the scheduling unit.

    摘要: Cold rolled material manufacturing equipment comprises: an unwinding device (21a) for unwinding a hot rolled coil after acid pickling; joining means (23), disposed on the exit side of the unwinding device, for joining the tail end of a preceding coil (25b) to the leading end of a succeeding coil (22a) unwound from the unwinding device; a rolling mill (10a, 10b) for continuously rolling the coils, with the leading end and the tail end of the coils being joined, in one direction; a strip storage device (50), disposed between the joining means and the rolling mill, for storing a strip S in order to perform continuous rolling by the rolling mill during joining of the preceding coil and the succeeding coil by the joining means; a strip cutting device (28) for cutting the strip to a desired length; a winding device (24) for winding the rolled coil; transport means (30) for withdrawing the coil from the winding device, and transporting the coil to the unwinding device (21a, 21b) so that the coil is rolled a plurality of times until the strip thickness of the coil reaches a desired product strip thickness; and a rolling speed control device (40) for controlling a rolling speed during joining of the preceding coil and the succeeding coil to a lower speed than a steady rolling speed.

    摘要: A method to control the drawing of rolled stock in a segment of the rolling line includes measuring the section of the rolled stock passing through is made by a first detector located at the outlet of the semi-finishing block and by a second detector located at the inlet to the finishing block. The method also carries out at least a measurement of the section of the rolled stock with a third detector located at the outlet of the finishing block, the drawing action being controlled and regulated by a control unit by comparing the measurements of the section at the outlet of the semi-finishing block, at the inlet to the finishing block and at the outlet thereof with the corresponding values memorized in tables in the control unit. Any divergences included in an admissible correction range with respect to the expected values are corrected by the control unit acting in feedback on the drawing means of the rolled stock in the segment of the line so as to return the dimensional value of the section of the rolled stock to around the expected value.

    摘要: In a rolling mill wherein product is rolled continuously in successive first and second blocks at the finishing end of the mill, a pinch roll unit is interposed between the two blocks. The motor speed of the pinch roll unit is employed in combination with other variables to preset the motor speed of the second block prior to entry of the product front end therein. The preset motor speed of the second block produces an acceptable level of interblock product tension once the product has entered the second block. Thereafter, product elongation in the first block is monitored and required adjustments to the motor speed of the second block are made in order to maintain interblock product tension within acceptable limits.
