    摘要: This invention can cope with various user needs and use cases related to a holding function and can prevent any situation in which, for example, even when the holding function is disabled, an external device continuously inputs, to a printing apparatus, jobs which require use of the holding function. This invention also prevents the data of a job that requires use of the holding function from remaining in a memory when the holding function is disabled. This invention prevents data that will never be used from remaining in a storage area when the holding function is disabled. A printing system, according to the invention, enables a printing unit to execute a process of a job that requires use of the holding function of causing a storage unit to hold data of a job to be processed. The printing system includes a control unit which disables the holding function. If it is determined that the holding function is disabled, the control unit cancels execution, by the printing unit, of the process of the job that requires use of the holding function.

    摘要: This invention provides a printing apparatus and printing method capable of partially changing the print process conditions of a print job containing image data, and improving user friendliness. To accomplish this, a printing apparatus such as an MFP having a printing unit for printing based on a print job receives a print job containing image data of pages. When setting the print process conditions of the print job, the first print process conditions of the first page group of pages and the second print process conditions of the second page group of pages are set to different conditions. Image data of the first page group are printed under the first print process conditions, whereas image data of the second page group are printed under the second print process conditions.

    摘要: The new hydrogen-recovering device 10 has a box-shaped frame 11 made of stainless steel having a takeout pipe 12 attached to its one side. A plurality of spacers 13 are arranged inside the box-shaped frame 11 along a lengthwise direction of the device 10. A perforated metal plate 14 is fixed to each surface of the box-shaped frame 11, and a hydrogen-permeating membrane 16 cladded with a membrane holder 15 is further fixed to the perforated metal plate 14. Hydrogen gas as a decomposition product of hydrocarbon selectively passes through the hydrogen-permeating membrane 16 and flows through the takeout pipe 12 to the outside. A tubular device, which has the structure that a hydrogen-permeable membrane is fixed to a perforated metal plate wound around a tubular frame, is also proposed. The device 10 is light and strong, so that it is installed in a gas-reforming plant without use of a fixing jig.
