    摘要: This method permits the production of at least two gaseous fluxes enriched in a permeable component from a gaseous mixture wherein the fluxes are considerably different, compared to the gaseous mixture. A first permeation unit (20) is supplied by the gaseous mixture feed. A second permeation unit (22) is supplied by the non-permeate produced by the first unit (20). The permeate produced by the second unit (22) which forms a first enriched flux is then sent to the third permeation unit (24) to form a second enriched flux.

    摘要: A hydrogen purification device, components thereof, and fuel processors and fuel cell system containing the same. The hydrogen purification devices include an enclosure that contains a separation assembly adapted to receive a mixed gas stream containing hydrogen gas and to produce a stream that contains pure or at least substantially pure hydrogen gas therefrom. The separation assembly includes at least one hydrogen-permeable and/or hydrogen-selective membrane, and in some embodiments includes at least one membrane envelope that includes a pair of generally opposed membrane regions that define a harvesting conduit therebetween and which are separated by a support. The enclosure includes components that are formed from materials having similar or the same coefficients of thermal expansion as the membrane or membranes. In some embodiments, these components include at least a portion of the support, and in some embodiments, these components include at least a portion of the enclosure.

    摘要: A method for the separation of carbon dioxide from a gas mixture is described in which a dendrimer selective for carbon dioxide is present in an immobilized liquid membrane, the dendrimer being either in pure form or optionally with at least one solvent, such as but not limited to glycerol, polyethylene glycol, water, refrigerated methanol, NMP, or glycerol carbonate, the latter also having selective carbon dioxide properties as will be described below. In another embodiment, a dendrimer selective for carbon dioxide and capable of forming a film may be used in the method as the membrane itself, optionally with at least one solvent.
