    摘要: In the first aspect of the present invention, there is disclosed a method for producing a copolymer of an alkyl vinyl ether and maleic anhydride which comprises removing an organic solvent used in a reaction under a temperature so that a slurry state can be maintained. According to the first aspect, such a copolymer of the alkyl vinyl ether and maleic anhydride which contains a little amount of the solvent remaining therein as disclosed in the second aspect of the present invention, can be obtained.Further, it can be avoided that a specific viscosity of the copolymer of the alkyl vinyl ether and maleic anhydride is lowered, by means of a method for producing a copolymer of alkyl vinyl ether and maleic anhydride which comprises shielding oxygen in a polymerization, as disclosed in the third aspect of the present invention.

    摘要: A polycarbonatediol composition is disclosed having carbonate bonds and from about 1 to 40 ether bonds to one carbonate bond in a molecule, which can provide polyurethanes having high mechanical strength and heat and moisture resistibility, and furthermore having improved properties at low temperatures.Further disclosed is a polyurethane resin prepared by reaction of an organic diisocyanate compound with the polycarbonatediol composition. The polyurethane resin has excellent properties under low temperature conditions, while retaining high levels of mechanical strength, excellent resistibility under high heat and moisture conditions, etc., thereby maintaining a good balance of properties. The polyurethane resin in accordance with the present invention is useful in a very wide variety of forms, including spandex, rigid or flexible urethane foams, thermoplastic urethane elastomers and thermosetting urethane elastomers, adhesives, synthetic leather, paints, etc.

    摘要: A polycarbonatediol composition is disclosed having the property of being liquid at room temperature because of its crystallinity being disordered due to random structures, which comprises a mixture of 1,6-hexanediol and polyvalent alcohol having at least one side chain. Accordingly, the disclosed composition has excellent processability in the case of preparing a polyurethane resin, etc.Further disclosed is a polyurethane resin prepared by reaction of an organic diisocyanate compound with the polycarbonatediol composition. The polyurethane resin has excellent properties under low temperature conditions, while retaining high levels of mechanical strength, excellent resistibility under high heat and moisture conditions, etc., thereby maintaining a good balance of properties.     摘要: The present invention relates to a process for producing a curing agent for a polyurethane paint, which comprises an aliphatic or alicyclic diisocyanate and a polyester polyol, wherein the polyester polyol is a copolymerized lactone polyol obtained by a ring-opening copolymerization of at least two members of cyclic lactone compounds each represented by the following formula (I) in the presence of a low molecular weight compound having at least two active hydrogen groups as an initiator. By using at least two members of cyclic lactone compounds, there is provided a curing agent for a polyurethane paint which is capable of forming a paint film having high mechanical strength, particularly high flexibility or impact resistance under low temperatures, and excellent in gloss retention.

    摘要: A cyclic ester (e.g., a lactone such as ε-caprolactone) is ring-opening addition polymerized with a dihydroxycarboxylic acid in the presence of a basic compound (e.g., an amine). In a polyester polyol obtained by such a process, at least part of a carboxyl group of the polyester polyol forms a carboxylate with the basic compound, and the content of the dihydroxycarboxylic acid in a free form can be remarkably reduced (for example, reduced to not more than 5% by weight relative to the total polyester polyol). According to the present invention, a polyester polyol having a reduced content of a free or unreacted dihydroxycarboxylic acid is provided even in the case of using a dihydroxycarboxylic acid (e.g., a dimethylolalkanoic acid such as dimethylolpropionic acid) as an initiator.
