摘要： A method of receiving, by a memory card, a rights object (RO) from a rights issuer (RI) via a terminal. The method includes: receiving from the terminal, a provisioning setup request message including information about a size of rights to be installed in the memory card; checking whether there is a space in the memory card for the rights; transmitting, to the terminal, a provisioning setup response message including a status indicating a result of processing the provisioning setup request message; and receiving, from the terminal, a rights provisioning request message for installing the rights into the memory card, the rights provisioning request message including rights information. The rights information is based on rights being extracted from a RO response message if a device identifier (ID) in the RO response message matches an ID of the memory card which is different from an ID of the terminal.

摘要： A terminal for managing digital rights of a memory card inserted into the terminal and has a processor and a memory, the digital rights allowing the terminal to access digital contents. The terminal includes a processor configured to manage a digital rights and to exchange information with the memory card, the information including a terminal ID and a memory card ID; perform a mutual authentication procedure with the memory card; receive, from a contents provider, a trigger message which indicates to the terminal that a digital rights for the memory card is prepared in the contents provider; if a parameter included in the trigger message does not indicate the memory card, perform a procedure for obtaining a digital rights for the terminal; and if a parameter included in the trigger message indicates the memory card, perform a procedure for requesting a digital rights for the memory card.

摘要： A device management (DM) system using a log management object and a method for effectively generating and controlling logging data in the system are disclosed. A DM server includes only information that a client can transfer processing of a corresponding command to a logging sub-tree manager in the logging data storage command and transmits it, and an accurate location at which the logging data is to be stored is determined by the logging sub-tree manager by itself by using control information of the logging sub-tree upon receiving the logging data storage command. Each node storing the logging data has a source attribute value and a reason attribute value. Accordingly, the DM server or a scheduling context does not involve in a complicate logging data storage procedure, and when logged node is checked, the particulars of the logged data can be easily recognized.

摘要： Device management commands to be executed within a terminal and conditions included within a scheduling context for executing such commands are provided to the terminal ahead of time. A server generates a scheduling context (or other type of scheduling information) that includes device management scheduled by the server to allow more effective scheduling to be performed by the terminal. A terminal receives the scheduling context from the server and performs the scheduled device management procedures accordingly.
