摘要: The present disclosure generally relates to a system and method for enabling on-demand, temporary storage of an autonomous vehicle in vehicle storage areas of existing infrastructures. The vehicle storage areas include one or more movable barrier operators configured to control access to the vehicle storage areas via movable barriers. An autonomous vehicle access control platform is configured to enable access to individual ones of the vehicle storage areas by a single-use access credential sent to at least one of the autonomous vehicle and one of the movable barrier operators. The autonomous vehicle access control platform communicates with a transportation-as-a-service (TaaS) platform that pairs an autonomous vehicle with a vehicle storage area for storage based at least on a factor or parameter including the location of the vehicle storage area relative to the autonomous vehicle.

摘要: In one aspect, a portable electronic device is provided for accessing a secured area to deliver a package therein. The portable electronic device includes a sensor configured to detect an indicium of the package and communication circuitry configured to communicate a message to a server computer associated with the package upon the sensor detecting the indicium. The communication circuitry is further configured to receive delivery information from the server computer, the delivery information including at least a location of the secured area. The portable electronic device further includes a processor operatively coupled to the sensor and the communication circuitry. The processor is configured to cause, via the communication circuitry, the movable barrier operator to open a movable barrier associated with the secured area.

摘要: In one aspect, a method is provided including receiving, at a server computer, a communication that indicates controllability of an access control device by a client application associated with an e-commerce service. The access control device associated with a property and configured to selectively allow access to the property relative to interaction with the client application. The method further includes determining that the property is constituted by dwellings beyond the access control device and identifying, based on a reconciliation of addresses of the dwellings with information of user accounts of an e-commerce service, at least one of the dwellings associated with the e-commerce service. The method further includes causing relative to the reconciliation an update to at least one of the user accounts associated with the at least one of the dwellings, the update opting-in the at least one of the user accounts to a feature of the e-commerce service.

The remote control operable to transmit communications to a movable barrier operator utilizing a first security protocol. In response to transmitting the information representative of the second security protocol to the remote control, the communication interface receives a first acknowledgement communication from the remote control indicating the remote control utilizes the second security protocol.

摘要: A movable barrier operator includes a communication interface configured to receive commands that cause the motor to move the movable barrier. The movable barrier operator further includes a processing circuit configured to cause the motor to automatically move the movable barrier from a first open position toward a closed position and then from the closed position toward a second open position different from the first open position in response to receipt of an intermediate open command by the communication interface. The processing circuit can also cause the motor of the movable barrier operator to move the movable barrier toward the first open position in response to the processing circuit determining that the movable barrier had been obstructed while moving from the first open position toward the closed position.

摘要: A connectivity module of a vehicle includes Bluetooth and ultra-wideband radios. A processor operatively connected to the Bluetooth radio and the ultra-wideband radio operates the connectivity module in an anchor mode or a tag mode based at least in part upon a proximity of the vehicle to a movable barrier operator. When in the anchor mode the connectivity module is configured to initiate communication between a user device and both the Bluetooth radio and the ultra-wideband radio. When in the tag mode, the connectivity module is configured to respond to the movable barrier operator initiating communication between the movable barrier operator and both the Bluetooth radio and the ultra-wideband radio.

摘要: In one aspect, a movable barrier operator system is provided that includes a motor configured to turn a drum to pay out a cable from the drum and permit a door connected to the cable to move from an open position toward a closed position. The system includes a memory configured to store an expected variable of the door, and a sensor configured to detect movement of the door. The system further includes a processor circuit operatively coupled to the motor, the memory, and the sensor. The processor circuit is configured to: use the sensor to estimate an actual variable of the door; determine whether the actual variable is acceptable based at least in part on the expected variable and the processor circuit causing the motor to turn the drum; and change operation of the movable barrier upon the actual variable of the movable barrier being unacceptable.

摘要: In one aspect, a method for using a remote control to train a trainable transmitter is provided. The method includes receiving a user input at a user interface of the remote control, broadcasting to a controllable device a first radio frequency communication via a first security protocol in response to receiving the user input at the user interface, the first communication including a first fixed code and a first changing code. The method further includes measuring a duration of the user input and broadcasting to the controllable device and the trainable transmitter a second radio frequency communication via a second security protocol different than the first security protocol in response to the measured duration of the user input satisfying a user input duration condition, the second radio frequency communication including the first fixed code and the first changing code.
