摘要： The present invention comprises a series of embodiments of a swivel cheeked bridle bit wherein the cheek portion, comprising a dee and/or lower or curb rein attachment eye or ring, is separate from the purchase, with the purchase serving as a pintle for the swivel attachment of the cheek portion to the remainder of the bit structure. The upper harness attachment ring, for attaching a curb chain, nose strap, and/or cheek strap to the bit, is immovably affixed to the upper end of the purchase, which in turn is immovably affixed to the mouth bar of the bit. This ensures that the upper ring does not rotate or swivel as the cheek is turned, thus avoiding twisting the ends of the straps attached to the upper ring and precluding turning the edge of the attachment ring and any attached straps into the side of the face of the animal.

摘要： A test kit for performing a diagnostic procedure. The kit comprises a plastic base which has an upper surface. The base is formed from a plastic material and a plurality of upwardly opening nests are provided in the upper surface of the base. A test component is provided in each of the nests in a manner such that the components may be displayed and made available for use. The test components are preferably displayed in essentially the plane of the upper surface of the base and an instruction booklet is provided so as to overlie the test components at the beginning of the procedure. The arrangement of the components and the size and shape of the pages of the booklet are such that as the user follows the instructions and turns pages in the booklet, components remain hidden from view until needed in conducting the procedure. The pages of the booklet are progressively shorter from front to back in the booklet so that as the pages are turned components of the kit come into view as needed.

摘要： A drapery support and drawing structure having drapery guides, a rod mechanism and a drapery panel. Each of the drapery guides incorporate a plate and a rod engagement mechanism. The plates are inserted into uniquely spaced pockets on the back side of the drapery panel. The rod engagement mechanism slidably engages the rod mechanism. The rod mechanism incorporates an inner extension that extends and retracts within an outer extension; the outer extension alone may be supported by mounting brackets. When the inner extension is fully extended a flat panel drapery results. However, when the inner extension is partially or fully retracted the drapery guides are proximate each other and evenly spaced pleats are formed. At all times the rod mechanism is hidden behind the drapery panel. A drawing wand may be utilized to extend and retract the inner extension.

摘要： A hidden, receiver type trailer hitch is provided for vehicles and comprises an elongate curved or straight transverse tubular strut of rectangular cross-sectional configuration and having reinforced horizontal connection plates at each end of the strut for bolted connection of the strut to the lower surface of the longitudinal frame members of a vehicle. Vertical connection plates are connected by welds to the outside edges of the horizontal connection plates and project upwardly from the horizontal connection plates for bolted connection to the outside side walls of the frame members. A tubular hitch receiver is connected by welds to the upper wall of the transverse strut and is reinforced by reinforcing plates that are connected by welds to both the side walls of the receiver and the front wall of the transverse strut. A spare tire lift relocator is connected transversely of the frame members and provides a relocating mount for the spare tire lift mechanism with which the vehicle is provided to provide ample space forwardly of the trailer hitch for storage of a full size spare wheel and tire assembly. The trailer hitch mounting system locates the receiver of the hitch in registry with a central rear opening of the bumper or roll pan at the rear of the vehicle. An actuator guide element is fixed to the hitch adjacent the receiver and provides a guide for the spare tire lift actuator when extended through the central rear opening to engage the actuator shaft of the lift.

摘要： A fuel atomizer for use in an internal combustion engine is mounted on a bracket and suspended within the air intake passageway of an engine, between the carburetor and the intake manifold, to facilitate the thorough mixing of fuel and air before combustion. When air moves through the passageway, it causes the atomizer to spin, which breaks up fuel droplets and promotes efficient combustion. The atomizer has a cylindrical cage with blades disposed about and parallel to its axis of rotation and with two circular end pieces which abut the blades to form the ends of the cage. The cage is horizontally mounted on an axis of rotation by the bracket which suspends the atomizer in the air passageway.
