摘要: A fuel turbine and a throttle body in a fuel system for an internal combustion engine. The fuel turbine includes a fuel turbine housing. The at least one fuel turbine output port is oriented substantially parallel to the fuel turbine housing axis and coupled to the throttle body. A primary fan capable of circumferential rotation and a secondary fan adapted for opposite circumferential rotation are oriented substantially parallel to the fuel turbine housing axis such that atomized fuel enters the fuel turbine input port to be forced by the primary fan and secondary fan into a higher pressure condition before exiting the fuel turbine housing by the at least one fuel turbine output port.

摘要: A device for transforming internal combustion engines using liquid fuel into over-pressurized engines using gas. Liquid fuel is fed into an annular chamber surrounding a needle. The fuel and primary air is injected at a controlled flow and pressure into a choke chamber to form an air-fuel premixture made of very fine microdrops. During the downstroke of the piston, the premixture is aspirated, causing the projection of the premixture against the blades of a rotor which rotates at high speed. The gasification chamber is then over pressurized during the closing of the intake valve and the introduction of the mixture.

摘要: An apparatus for enhancing fuel atomization in an internal combustion engine includes an impeller assembly mounted between the carburetor and intake manifold of the engine with a rotational rotor for impingement by the moving fuel entrained airstream from the carburetor and the intake manifold to rotationally disperse and further atomize the fuel particles in the airstream. An E.G.R. valve operated by the vacuum draw from the engine controls the admission of a supplemental airstream into the impeller assembly radially against the rotor member at engine speeds in excess of a predetermined threshold level to impart increased rotational speed to the rotor member to further enhance fuel atomization and to achieve a turbocharging-like effect.

摘要: A device and method for installing a device for improving the fuel/air mixture in internal combustion engines with or without a fuel injection system. An intermediate member operatively dispositioned between the engine intake manifold and the intake port comprises at least two helically twisted blades attached to the inner bore of an intake port opening in the intermediate member; these blades are angled in relation to the fuel/air flow path and twisted so as to impart a swirling to the fuel/air mixture. In fuel injected systems, the swirl is imparted to the air flow just prior to encountering the umbrella mist injected to the intake port by the fuel injector. The swirl mixing of the fuel/air improves engine performance, reduces pollutants, and increases gas mileage. Further, in fuel injection systems, the device reduces or eliminates the common occurrence of a burned intake valve caused by a clogged injector.

摘要: A cylindrical rotor is rotatably mounted within the bore of a housing. A plurality of passages arranged in concentric annular rows extend through the rotor. Each passage is generally rectangular in cross section and is inclined with respect to the axis of the rotor. The rotor is forced to rotate in response to a gaseous stream moving through the bore and the passages. Liquid particles entrained within the gaseous stream are atomized in response to the movement of the rotor.

摘要: An atomizer disposed between the carburetor and intake manifold for breaking up and intimately mixing the charge of fuel and air received from the carburetor before passing it on to the intake manifold of an internal combustion engine. The atomizer has a chamber with two motor driven paddles with parallel axles disposed within the chamber across the air flow. The paddle vanes are overlapping in operation and geared to rotate outwardly as viewed upstream of the paddles with very high turbulence to atomize the gas particles and provide an intimate mixture of air and fuel.
