摘要： The instant invention is a machine/implement used for soil preparation and seeding intended for farming and gardening that mounts on a standard three point hitch and is powered by the tractor's power-take-off (PTO). The implement integrates the processes of ground breaking, tilling, fertilizing and planting in one adjustable unit. The adjustments include the spacing and depth of the ground cutting and tilling blades and the openings of the fertilizing ports to prepare the ground for planting in defined strips leaving the majority of ground only lightly disturbed. To achieve these goals, the apparatus is comprised of two frames, a lower one that contains the blades that break the ground crust ahead of the tiller tines that grind the soil into finer particles for planting. The lower frame also has a rear flap that levels and marks the tilled soil and also supports seed boxes with a mechanism that allows the seeder/seeders to set seed at a constant depth on uneven ground. The spacing of the seed boxes are determined by mounting holes in the apron. The upper detachable frame contains a bin that filters, holds and dispenses the fertilizer by mixing it down through adjustable ports directly above and forward of the tiller blades to be mixed with the earth during tilling thus making it possible to break the ground, till, fertilize and seed in a single pass.

A flow diverter is pivotally mounted in the chamber and has a concave diverter surface forming a portion of a torus. A valve handle is adapted to pivot the diverter to a position connecting a second adjacent pair of the ports with the second pair of ports including one of the ports from the first pair. The handle is further adapted to pivot the diverter to a position connecting all of the ports.

摘要： Real time determination of the presence of emulsion in a formation fluid is accomplished using an optical probe, preferably an attenuated total reflectance probe. The determination can then be used to appropriately increase, decrease or leave unchanged the use of demulsification additives or other means to control emulsion formation. The method is particularly useful for free water knock-out separations, where a plurality of probes can be used to distinguish the location and/or volume of emulsion, or “rag”, layer and thereby to facilitate decantation of relatively pure oil and water fractions. It can also be effectively used in pipelines, and can optionally determine the degree of emulsification and trends toward emulsification or demulsification.

The tractor accommodates standard farm implements and can supply electrical power to remote areas. To achieve these goals, the machine is comprised of a frame and wheels which are driven independently by hydraulic motors powered by a variable volume, hydrostatic pump that is driven in line, by an electric motor that also drives a hydraulic lift pump and a power-take-off shaft through belts. The hydrostatic pump is controlled by the operator for forward and reverse motion. The electric motor is powered by batteries and the batteries can be recharged by an on-board photoelectric panel. A combination charger/inverter is located aboard the tractor to charge the batteries from any 110V A.C. power outlet or generate 110V A.C. electrical power from the tractor.

摘要： A connector assembly to join two contacts that has a seal assembly comprised of simple, reliable, easily replaceable and inexpensive components. The connector assembly has a female housing that automatically seals a contact therein when the connector assembly is not assembled. The connector assembly includes a male housing, the female housing, an resilient sleeve and a spring. The male housing includes a rigid projection and a longitudinal passageway sized to mount a first contact therein. Like the male housing, the female housing includes a longitudinal passageway sized to mount a second contact therein. The seal assembly includes the resilient sleeve and the spring. The sleeve is mounted about the contact in the female housing and is located so that the spring pinches the sleeve closed when the male and female housings are not connected. During the connection process, a projection on the male housing portion forces the spring to release its engagement with the resilient sleeve so that the sleeve can deform and open into its normal position wherein the first contact can fit inside the sleeve when the connector is assembled.
