    摘要: Methods and apparatuses for an ophthalmic imaging system are provided. An ophthalmic illumination system with a micro-display projector based head-up display is provided. In accordance with an embodiment, a first optical element is configured to direct light from a light source upon an eye to be examined. A micro-display projector is configured to generate a micro-display image including information associated with the eye to be examined. A third optical element is configured to receive reflected light from the eye resulting from the light directed upon the eye, receive the micro-display image, and transmit at least a portion of the reflected light and at least a portion of light from the micro-display image.

Particularly, the present invention is directed to an article of manufacture for electromagnetic interference shielding comprising a cylindrically-shaped sleeve constructed of a conductive fabric adapted to provide electromagnetic interference shielding by conducting at least a portion of electromagnetic radiation, wherein the cylindrically-shaped sleeve is made by rolling a piece of conductive fabric into a cylindrical shape such that opposing sides of the piece of conductive fabric are joined together resulting in the cylindrically-shaped sleeve having a seam at a junction of the opposing sides. In one embodiment, opposing sides of the piece of conductive fabric are sewn together.

    摘要: An ophthalmic treatment system and method for performing therapy on target tissue in a patient's eye. A delivery system delivers treatment light to the patient's eye and a camera captures a live image of the patient's eye. Control electronics control the delivery system, register a pre-treatment image of the patient's eye to the camera's live image (where the pre-treatment image includes a treatment template that identifies target tissue within the patient's eye), and verify whether or not the delivery system is aligned to the target tissue defined by the treatment template. The control electronics control the delivery system to project the treatment light onto the patient's eye in response to both an activation of a trigger device and the verification that the delivery system is aligned to the target tissue, as well as adjust delivery system alignment to track eye movement.
