    摘要: A short-circuiting member for preventing a commutator from being elongated in the axial direction without increasing the types of different components. Each component includes outer circumference terminals arranged along an outer circumference, inner circumference terminals arranged along an inner circumference, and connection portions connecting corresponding outer and inner circumference terminals that are separated from each other by a predetermined angle in a circumferential direction. The outer and inner circumference terminals are substantially formed along the same plane. The components are laminated in a state in which the connection portions of one of the components are reversed to the connection portions of another one of the components. The outer terminals adjacent in a lamination direction are in contact with each other, the inner terminals adjacent in the lamination direction are in contact with each other, and the connection portions that are adjacent in the lamination direction are not in contact with each other.

A start lead of the winding connects between the coil and a corresponding start segment among a plurality of segments of a commutator. A finish lead of the winding connects between the coil and a corresponding finish segment among the plurality of segments. The finish segment is located adjacent to a diametrically opposed one of the plurality of segments, which is circumferentially displaced by about 180 degrees from the start segment and is thereby diametrically opposed to the start segment.

    摘要: The armature of a direct-current motor is formed by an armature core and armature coils. The core includes teeth, which are arranged at a pitch of a predetermined angle. The coils are wound about every group of selected teeth of a predetermined number. Two magnets face each other with the armature in between. Each magnet includes main portion, an extended portion, which extends from the main portion, and a first weak flux part. The first weak flux part is located in the vicinity of the border of the extended portion and the main portion. The first weak flux part extends along one pitch of the teeth. The flux of the first weak flux part gradually increases along the rotation direction of the armature. The motor also includes a commutator, which has segments. The segments are connected to each coil. A pair of brushes can contact each segment. The brushes supply current to the coils through the segments. During commutation, each brush establishes a short circuit in an adjacent pair of the segments, thereby changing the direction of current flowing through the coil. When commutation is started, the advancing end of the first tooth in one of the teeth groups, the first tooth being located at the most advanced position in the group in the rotation direction of the armature, is aligned with the first weak flux part of one of the magnets.

    摘要: An electric rotating machine and a fan motor for vehicle are obtained, wherein variation width of current waveform resulting from occurrence of coils in a short circuit state is narrowed to reduce vibration and noise. A commutator 26 of the fan motor for vehicle comprises twelve segments 24, and a pair of positive/negative brushes are press-contacted to the commutator 26. Among the segments 24, at least one of pairs of segments that the brushes simultaneously contact have mutually different pitches. Therefore, timing when the coil in the short circuit state occurs at an armature and timing when the coil is released from the short circuit state of one brush deviate from those of the other brush temporally. Accordingly, the variation width of current waveform of electric current supplied to the coil connected to the pair of segments 24 narrows at least. As a result, the vibration of the electric rotating machine, variation of rotating torque, and the noise are considerably reduced, and life thereof is thus extended as well.

    摘要: A support structure for a drive source such as a motor of the blower is disclosed in which the generation of noise caused by the vibration of the motor is suppressed. The flange of a support member has a low-stiffness portion having a thickness smaller than a high-stiffness portion of the same flange. The low-stiffness portion is thus vibrated more easily than the high-stiffness portion. When the motor vibrates, therefore, the vibration rate of the low-stiffness portion increases beyond that of the high-stiffness portion, so that the low-stiffness portion vibrates considerably. The motor vibration is thus absorbed by the flange (support member) and the transmission of the motor vibration to a casing can be suppressed. As a result, the area of the sound source of the blower is decreased as a whole, thereby making it possible to suppress the generation of noise caused by the vibration of the motor.
