Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for GIGA wire auto pairing, in more details the method for performing auto pairing between a domain master and end-point in an access network forming a G.hn domain including access network multiplexer (GAM) in which multiple ports are functioning as domain masters, a terminal (GNT) which includes an end-point forming a G.hn domain with the domain master, and a bundle cable connecting the domain master with the end-point. The auto pairing process is performed by activating ports and starting opening-up, and linking the domain master and the end-point using a seed value, then if the link is set up, automatically registering MAC address of the end-point using previously saved MAC address of the end-point. And thus the domain master is connected only with the registered end-point in the relink process. According to the present invention, it is unlikely to confuse different lines as the same lines.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for reverse power feeding in accordance with communication line environments and a method thereof, which measure line resistance (e.g., a difference in impedance depending on a distance between a customer premise (CP) and a distribution point (DP)) of a communication line (e.g., a twisted pair copper wire) connected to a distribution point at a customer premise and reflect the measured line resistance to perform stable power feeding to the distribution point.
Abstract:
Provided is a protection cover for protecting an optical module. The protection cover installed at an edge of an optical modem in which the optical module is randomly separable without opening a case includes a bottom cover including a hinge and screw coupling hole at one end thereof, a pair of side covers extending toward left and right upper sides from the bottom cover, each of the pair of side covers including a hook at one side thereof, a front cover extending toward a front upper side from the bottom cover, the front cover having a U-shaped front groove, and a pair of top cover horizontally extending from the side covers and the front cover, the pair of top covers having trapezoid-shaped top grooves that are spaced apart from each other.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for load balancing among multi-ports in reverse power feeding, and more particularly, to an apparatus and a method which, in the process in which a distribution apparatus performs load balancing among multi-ports by reversely receiving power from multiple customer premises at a distribution point, when reverse power feeding from a specific customer premise is stopped, since a power burden of a remaining customer premise is increased, which interfere with a communication service, can reduce power consumption on the distribution by releasing a link of a communication port connected with the corresponding customer premise as soon as the power feeding is stopped and provide a stable communication service by performing the load balancing only with respect to remaining communication ports.
Abstract:
An optical network terminal with functions of detecting, recovering and blocking failures, and storing the information according to the present invention comprises: an uplink carrying out a function to communicate with a high level system; a communication port distributing or integrating the communication; a CPU managing distribution and integration of the communication; and a system power source for supplying power to the uplink, the communication port and the CPU, wherein the uplink comprises an optical module carrying out optical communication with the high level system; a MAC module controlling optical communication with the high level system; and a failure detection, recovery and blocking module for detecting optical output of the optical module, recovering failures and blocking optical output outside the MAC module. In accordance with the present invention, faster and specific failure solution can be provided using a low-cost microprocessor and its storage media.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for synchronized communication in access network applied G.hn technology thereto, access network multiplexer (GAM), an access network terminal (GNT), and access network system using the same, which comprises a plurality of domain masters that communicate with the access network terminal; a clock controller controlling at least one of speed or output of the signal that the domain master transmits; and an access network terminal which communicates with the access network multiplexer (GAM) connecting the domain masters and G.hn specification physical layer, and at least one of speed or output of the signal that the access terminal transmits is controlled by the clock control unit. The present invention provides efficient data transmission and high bandwidth to service subscribers with applying G.hn technology to conventional coaxial cable or telephone line, thereby reducing crosstalk occurred in data transmission.
