Method for assisting in the management of the electric energy of an electric or hybrid vehicle, comprising the steps of: providing a graph including a plurality of nodes belonging to one or more branches of the graph; iteratively performing the following steps: acquiring current geographical geolocation coordinates of the vehicle; identifying, on the graph, a node geographically closer to said current geographical coordinates; identifying, based on said node closer to the current geographical coordinates, which branch of the graph the vehicle is travelling; acquiring the energy consumption information associated with the branch that the vehicle is travelling; checking whether a current electrical charge of the batteries of the vehicle allows the vehicle to reach the respective arrival charging station of the branch the vehicle is travelling; and generating a feedback signal as a function of said check.

A modular frame structure for a machining center which includes at least one modular unit having a first and a second individual module. Each individual module includes two mutually parallel vertical columns, each one extending parallel to a vertical direction; a pair of first horizontal cross-members, each one extending parallel to a first horizontal direction, each horizontal cross-member of the pair of first cross-members being joined to both columns. The modular unit further includes two pairs of second horizontal cross-members, each horizontal cross-member parallel to a second horizontal direction that is perpendicular to the first horizontal direction.

The present invention refers to a process for the preparation of a graphene dispersion comprising the following steps: i) providing cellulose acetate flakes or powders; ii) swelling the cellulose acetate flakes or powders in an alcohol having from 1 to 3 carbon atoms; iii) adding acetic anhydride in a concentration range from 30 to 50 wt % referred to the total weight of the mixture; iv) adding graphene nanoplatelets to yield a graphene dispersion. The graphene dispersion is used as ink for composite materials that are employed in the field of foldable electronics. The invention relates also to a composite material comprising uniformly dispersed graphene nanoplatelets and its use for manufacturing electronic devices.

A comprehensive system for treatment of wrist joint proprioception. The system includes a manipulandum unit and a controller. The unit includes a base, a handle, a linkage assembly, and motors. The base supports a subject's forearm, and the handle is gripped by the palm. The linkage assembly connects the handle to the base, and establishes three DOFs. The motors are operatively connected to the linkage assembly. The controller is programmed to actuate, and receive feedback information from, each of the plurality of motors. Further, the controller is programmed to perform wrist proprioception assessment operations by actuating the plurality of motors to effectuate movement of the handle relative to the base in a prescribed manner indicative of position motion sense acuity as an objective measure of wrist proprioception functioning. The controller is optionally further programmed to perform rehabilitation training via controlled operation of the unit and a virtually reality environment.

A method of synthesizing (Boc)2-creatine derivatives of formula (III) which comprises a first step in which a sarcosine ester is reacted with a guanylating agent comprising two nitrogen atoms each protected with a t-butoxycarbonyl (t-Boc) group to form a (Boc)2-creatine ester, and a second step in which the (Boc)2-creatine ester is subjected basic hydrolysis to form (Boc)2-creatine of formula (III) is described. The (Boc)2-creatine so obtained can be used in methods of synthesizing creatine and phosphocreatine derivatives in which the free carboxyl group of the creatine is conjugated with a desired molecule.

A compound having antiestrogenic activity is used in a method for the treatment of BC or other estrogen-responsive tumors in a human patient, wherein the method comprises subjecting the patient to a fasting mimicking diet for a period of 24-190 hours while the patient is being treated with the compound having antiestrogenic activity, which can be a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM), a selective estrogen receptor downregulator (SERD) or an aromatase inhibitor (AI).

The present invention relates to magnetic nanoparticles based on iron oxide having cubic shape, suitably functionalized for the release of targeting chemotherapeutic agents, i.e. selectively in the tumors being treated The invention also relates to the pharmaceutical compositions having such nanoparticles and to their use in combined oncological therapies of hyperthermia and chemotherapy, useful in particular in the treatment of ovarian tumors.
