摘要: This invention relates to a safety belt system for vehicles comprising a belt retractor 10 and a webbing clamping mechanisms 12 arranged downstream of the retractor 10 and having two clamping wedges 46 and 48 which are arranged opposite each other in a housing on either side of the webbing. When the slide faces 54, 56 bear on the support surfaces 42, 44 the clamping faces 50, 52 of the clamping wedges 46, 48 form an angle of about one degree with each other which is open in the direction G of the belt withdrawal. Holding devices 402, 404; 410, 414 are provided for holding said clamping wedges 46, 48 in said rest position with their slide faces 54, 56 inclined to said support surfaces 42, 44 and their clamping faces parallel to the webbing. The holding devices become ineffective under load so that the slide faces 54, 56 make a surface contact with said support surfaces 42, 44 and the clamping faces 50, 52 form an angle of about one degree with each other which is open in the direction (G) of belt withdrawal.

摘要: A retractor for a vehicle safety belt is provided, comprising a housing, a load bearing ratchet pawl supported in the housing, and a belt drum rotatably mounted in the housing. The belt drum is provided with ratchet disks at its axial ends. The ratchet disks are coaxial with the belt drum and are provided with a ratchet toothing at its outer circumference, into which the ratchet pawl can be engaged for locking the belt drum in the direction of pay-off of belt webbing coiled on the belt drum. The belt drum is further provided with energy take-up means arranged in the power transmission path between the belt drum and the ratchet disks. This energy take-up means are adapted to allow rotation of the belt drum in relation to the ratchet disks in the pay-off direction under heavy strain.

摘要: The invention relates to a safety belt restraining system for vehicles comprising a belt retractor 10 and a webbing clamping means 12 arranged downstream of the retractor 10 and having two clamping wedges 46, 48 which are arranged opposite each other in a housing on either side of the webbing 22. The belt retractor 10 blockable in vehicle-sensitive and/or webbing-sensitive manner and the webbing clamping means 12 are connected together by connecting means 60, 62. With plastic deformation they yield and permit a limited moving of the webbing clamping means 12 away from the belt retractor 10 when the force exerted on the webbing 22 exceeds a predetermined value.

摘要: A belt retractor for an occupant restraining system in vehicles is provided with a belt drum (12) rotatably mounted in a frame (10) and acted upon by a wind-up spring, a locking mechanism for the belt drum and able to be activated by the pivoting, caused in a manner responsive to the vehicle and/or the belt webbing, of at least one actuator pawl (20a; 24), and catch elements (32, 34; 50, 62) pivotally mounted on the belt drum (12) and able to rotate in relation it, said catch elements (32, 34; 50, 62) and the actuator pawl (20a; 24) being able to assume, by rotation of the belt drum (12) in the windup direction, a first position in relation to each other in which the catch elements (32, 34; 50, 62) engage the actuator pawl (20a; 24) and prevent pivoting thereof, and by rotation in the unwinding direction a second position, in which the catch elements (32, 34; 50, 62) clear the actuator pawl (20a; 24). For the transition from the first position to the second one rotation of the belt drum (12) through a predetermined angular movement of at least approximately 10.degree. is necessary. This prevents any undesired locking of the belt drum on taking up the belt webbing in a reliable, safe fashion.
