摘要: This disclosure relates to a system for monitoring pasture intake by a grazing animal species. The system comprises a sensor spatially associated with a body part of the animal to generate movement data indicative of movement of the body part of the animal associated with multiple points in time and a processing server. The processing server comprises a data interface to receive the movement data and a processor that is configured to evaluate the received movement data to determine for each of the multiple points in time an indication of a behaviour of the animal at that point in time. Based on the indication the processor determines a time value indicative of a time the behaviour was shown by the animal, and determines a pasture intake value based on the time value.

摘要: An integrated security system integrates broadband and mobile access and control with conventional security systems and premise devices to provide a tri-mode security network that with remote connectivity and access. The integrated security system delivers remote premise monitoring and control functionality to conventional monitored premise protection and complements existing premise protection equipment. The integrated security system integrates into the premise network and couples wirelessly with the conventional security panel, enabling broadband access to premise security systems. Automation devices can be added, enabling users to remotely see live video or pictures and control home devices via a personal web portal, mobile phone, or other client device. Users can receive notifications of detected events via electronic message.

摘要: The present invention provides a process for producing nanoparticles, comprising: providing a first liquid comprising a metal salt and at least one species of ligand having a functional group capable of binding to a metal surface, providing a second liquid comprising a reducing agent; providing at least one liquid droplet generator operable to generate liquid droplets, causing the at least one liquid droplet generator to form liquid droplets of the first liquid, passing the liquid droplets through a gas to contact the second liquid so as to cause the metal salt and the at least one species of ligand to come into contact with the reducing agent, thereby causing self-assembly of nanoparticles, said nanoparticles having a core of said metal and a corona comprising a plurality of said ligands covalently bound to the core. Also provided are nanoparticles produced by the process of the invention and use of such nano particles in medicine.
