    摘要: A dryer apparatus is disclosed comprising a container having a container inlet and outlet, a pump that is configured to motivate a first air-vapor mixture flow via the container inlet and via the container outlet, a heating device configured to heat the first air-vapor mixture, a selector with at least two states, a compressor that is configured to compress and motivate a part of the first air-vapor mixture flow as a second air-vapor mixture flow, to flow through a first heat exchanger and to flow through a second heat exchanger and a pressure reducing device that is configured to reduce the pressure of said second air-vapor mixture downstream said first heat exchanger. The selector is configured to direct most of the first air-vapor mixture to flow in a closed cycle through the container, or configured to exchange most of the first air-vapor mixture with air located outside the apparatus.

    摘要: An atmospheric water generator (AWG) includes a defrost or reversing valve embedded on the refrigeration cycle of the AWG. The defrost or reversing valve enables, when activated, hot compressed refrigerant gas to flow from the condenser to the evaporator of the refrigeration cycle for melting frost buildup on the evaporator. In one embodiment, a defrost valve is connected, to the refrigerant line connecting the compressor to the condenser and to one of (i) the refrigerant line connecting the expansion means to the evaporator or (ii) the refrigerant line connecting the evaporator to the compressor.

    摘要: An atmospheric water generator (AWG) with a water cooling system is disclosed. In some embodiments, the AWG includes a cooling compartment defined by walls, designed to comprise a cooling medium and comprising a refrigerant coil. The storage tank for storing the water that are generated by the AWG shares at least a portion of a common wall with the cooling compartment. The refrigerant coil of the cooling compartment is in fluid communication with the refrigeration cycle and designed to be at least partially submerged in the cooling medium. In some embodiments, the stored water tank is submerged in the cooling compartment. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

    摘要: A drying apparatus includes a compartment for containing objects to be dried, a closed-loop air pathway and a regeneration heat exchanger. The closed-loop air pathway includes a cooling element and a heating element, and is configured to extract from the compartment air that includes moisture in the form of vapor, to evacuate heat energy from the extracted air to an external fluid flow by cooling using the cooling element so as to remove at least some of the moisture from the air, to reheat the air using the heating element, and to re-introduce the reheated air into the compartment. The regeneration heat exchanger is inserted in the closed-loop air pathway and is configured to transfer heat from the air extracted from the compartment to the air exiting the cooling element in the closed-loop air pathway.

    摘要: A heat exchanger comprises a stack of sets of fins and tubes attached to or encompassed by embossed plates comprising a void. In some embodiments, the fins overlap the void having a peripheral margin of the fin attached to the peripheral margin around the void. In some embodiments, the fins comprise through fluid apertures allowing lateral fluid flow. In some embodiments, the plates comprise lateral peripheral protrusions enabling selective sealing of gaps between adjacent stacked plates by unselective application of heat or adhesive to a face of the heat exchanger. In some embodiments, the plates comprise uniformizing protrusions in a fluid inlet and/or outlet zone that reduce the amount of non-uniform fluid mass flow between different channel protrusions of heat exchanging zones of the set. Also disclosed are methods for assembly and selective sealing of the heat exchanger and an apparatus comprising the same.
