    摘要: Disclosed is a method for registration of scans of an object, such as a biological organ, by obtaining scans of the object that includes a first scan obtained with the object in a first position and a second scan obtained with the object in a second position different from the first position, extracting landmarks within each of the scans, flattening each of the scans, detecting feature points of each of the flattened scans, matching corresponding feature points of each of the flattened scans, performing a harmonic map registration using the matched corresponding feature points and displaying the registered scans.

    摘要: A method for load control in uplink interference cancellation systems with soft decision is disclosed. It is determined whether interference is to be cancelled from a received signal based on a packet size of the received signal. If the signal is to be cancelled, a maximal correlation factor between an interfering portion and a useful portion of the received signal is determined based on a transport block size of the received signal. If the signal is to be cancelled, a reduced target load for a base station is also determined based on the maximal correlation factor. If the signal is to be cancelled, uplink transmit power for one or more wireless communication devices is adjusted based on the reduced target load.

    摘要: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media that can perform novel and effective flattening of an image are provided. The flattening can be based on quasiconformal mapping. Such mapping can be used to straighten the main landmark curves with least conformality (angle) distortion. This technique can be referred to as quasiconformal straightening (QCS), and it can provide a canonical and straightforward view of convoluted surfaces. The computation can be based on the holomorphic 1-form method with landmark straightening constraints and quasiconformal optimization.
