    摘要： A multiple position, resilient support cushion, has a generally triangular shape and may be used in any of three positions to create a lying, sitting and in-between resting position, and which provides support for the head and body of the user when in any of these positions. The cushion has first, second and third support surfaces extending between parallel side surfaces. The first and second surfaces have generally continuous configurations, and the third surface has a multiple contour or stepped configuration. The third surface has a pair of generally equal length portions joined together by an inwardly extending intermediate portion which forms an intermediate corner. The second and third surfaces form a flexible triangular-shaped upper portion at their junction when the cushion is supported on its first surface, which upper portion positions the weight of the body over the second surface of the cushion rather than against it. The corner and intermediate portion of the stepped surface supports the neck of a user and the two adjacent surface portions support the head and back of the user when the cushion is supported on the second surface. The body may be formed of a resilient foam material or of an air inflatable bladder.

    摘要： The specification discloses a modular furniture system in which a modular furniture assembly is made of a pair of elongated base frames to which a support element is mounted to serve as a chair, seat, table, or the like. Front and rear shrouds are secured over the base frames to mask them from view and end panels are provided to cover either or both sides depending on whether the unit is to be ganged against other units. Upholstery covering is provided which utilizes a unique strip hook for securing to a cross piece on the base frames and which includes front and rear "button" flanges for slipping into a space between the shroud at the front or rear of the chair and the support member. The "button" flange or strip is then rotated so that it cannot be removed from the gap into which it was inserted. A unique toggle flange ganger clip is provided for ganging adjacent module units together.

This construction provides easy handling, economical shipment and storage, and dimensional adjustability of the chair seats during manufacture. In use the chair seats can adjust to uneven floor surfaces which support the frame on which the chair seat is mounted. This adjustability under the weight of an occupant aids in preventing the chair from undergoing discomforting teetering.

    摘要： A system for towing a plurality of wheeled load-carrying vehicles in a train in which coacting tongue and pin members are provided on the vehicles. Each vehicle has a body having a front end and a back end, a pair of fixed position wheels secured to the underside of the body at the back end, a single caster wheel assembly secured to the underside adjacent the front end, and a tongue member mounted on the back end of the vehicle and having an opening in one end. The caster wheel assembly includes a flange secured to the wheel support and a downwardly extending towing pin on the outer end of the flange. To achieve tracking of a trailing vehicle behind a leading vehicle, the tongue on the leading vehicle is moved to a position in which the tongue opening receives the caster wheel pin on the trailing vehicle. A releasable connection is thus made, with the pulling force applied directly to the caster wheel support.
