    摘要: The present invention generally provides peptides that comprise a recognition sequence motif for phosphotyrosine binding proteins. In particular, the present invention provides peptides which comprise a core sequence of amino acids, and analogs thereof, which are recognized and bound by the PTB (phosphotyrosine binding) domain. Also provided are methods of using the peptides of the invention in diagnostic, screening and therapeutic applications.

    摘要: The present invention generally relates to novel protein domains which bind to tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins. More particularly, the present invention provides non-SH2 protein domains that bind phosphotyrosine. The present invention also provides various composite polypeptides comprising these domains, such that these composite polypeptides retain the ability to bind tyrosine phosphorylated proteins. It also provides nucleic acids encoding these polypeptides. Typically, these nucleic acids may also comprise a promoter for expression, and a segment encoding fusion peptides on the amino or carboxy terminus of the expressed composite protein. Also included within the present invention are methods of preparing these polypeptides and cells capable of expressing them. Also provided are methods of using these polypeptides in research, diagnostic and therapeutic applications.
