A gateway control apparatus of a mobile communications network system, which is a termination point of signaling messages according to a first protocol, detects a first selection request via an interface of a first network technology from a mobility management entity, of selecting the gateway control apparatus for communicating user data in the mobile communications network system between an entity of the first protocol and a network of a second protocol. Based on the detected first selection request, the gateway control apparatus selects a distributed gateway device from plural distributed gateway devices for communicating the user data, and provides a second selection request of selecting the distributed gateway device via an interface of a second network technology independent from the first network technology.

A facility and process for processing containers includes a container production device for producing containers and at least one processing device which is disposed downstream from the container production device, for further processing of the containers. The container production device is synchronized with the processing device during regular operation. However, upon recognition of a malfunction in the processing device, synchronization of the container production device with the processing device is at least temporarily canceled.

The articles are each standing on a link conveyor in an airflow of drying air. The invention relates to a camera system for vehicles comprising a camera with variable orientation for capturing the course of the road in front of a vehicle. The control of the camera by a controller is disclosed, which guarantees a good spatial resolution when travelling around corners as well as when travelling straight ahead. The controller receives vehicle dynamic travel parameters or satellite information on the current location of the vehicle, the course and/or geographical position of the road.

The invention relates to a facility (2) for processing containers, having a container production device (4) for producing containers and at least one processing device (6), which is disposed downstream from the container production device (4), for further processing of the containers, wherein said facility (2) is designed such that the container production device (4) is synchronized with the processing device (6) during regular operation. According to the invention, the facility (2) is further designed such that during operation, in particular upon recognition of a malfunction in the processing device (6), the synchronization of the container production device (4) with the processing device (6) can be at least temporarily canceled. The invention also relates to a method for remedying malfunctions in the facility (2), in which the container production device (4) is synchronized with the processing device (6) during regular operation, according to which, according to the invention, the synchronization between the container production device (4) and the processing device (6) is at least temporarily canceled upon recognition of a malfunction in the treatment device (6).

A magnet pole, for magnetically levitated vehicles, includes a core (10) and a winding provided with winding disks that are arranged axially on top of each other. Both of the disks contain conduction band sections (6a, 6b) that are wound counter to the direction of winding and in several layers about the core (10). The conduction band sections are connected together in an electrically conductive manner by means of a connection part (1) on the core (10) near ends. The connection part (1) is bent in an outward manner on lateral longitudinal edges that are parallel to each other thus forming a curved outlet (12a, 12b).

A magnetic pole for magnetic levitation vehicles is described which pole comprises a core (1) and a winding (16) applied on it in form of a disc which is formed by a conductor strip (17) wound in several layers (10a) . . . 10k) around said core (1). According to the present invention, the conductor strip (17) is properly tailor-cut at its longitudinal rims (17a, 17b) so that its width increases from said core (1) towards the outside until it reaches a maximum value (b2) (FIG. 3).

A guiding magnet system for a magnetic levitation vehicle is described. The guiding magnet system has a plurality of magnet arrangements (50, 51, 57) which each comprise a core (33) extending in the vehicle's longitudinal direction and have at least two winding levels (planes). In each winding plane an even number of windings (58, 60 or 59, 62) is provided. At one end of the magnet arrangements (50, 51, 57) two windings (e.g. 58a, 58b) each lying one behind the other but diagonally above each other and being connected in series, form a pair of windings linked to an assigned control circuit. At the other end of said magnet arrangement either also two such winding pairs or single winding pairs are provided which comprise two windings (60a, 60b or 61a, 61b) arranged one behind the other. Further, a magnetic levitation vehicle equipped with such a guiding magnet system is described (FIG. 10).
