    摘要: Magnetic Random Access Memory (MRAM) can be programmed and read as fast as Static Random Access Memory (SRAM) and has the non-volatile characteristics of electrically eraseable programmable read only memory (EEPROM), FLASH EEPROM or one-time-programmable (OTP) EPROM. Due to the randomness of manufacturing process, the magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJ) in MRAM cells will require different row and column current combinations to program and not to disturb the other cells. Based on adaptive current sources for programming, this disclosure teaches methods, designs, test algorithms and manufacturing flows for generating EEPROM, FLASH EEPROM or OTP EPROM like memories from MRAM.

    摘要: A print medium is disclosed which includes a base paper containing a first side and a reverse side, and a coating layer disposed on at least the first side. The coating layer contains a mixture that includes about 10-90 weight percent of a first pigment comprising precipitated calcium carbonate particles, about 5-60 weight percent of a second pigment comprising particles of a liquid absorptive material having a larger size than the first pigment particles and having a different shape that of the first pigment particles, and about 1-50 weight percent of a third pigment comprising particles of a liquid absorptive high surface area material having a surface area of at least 50 m2/gram, and having a smaller size that both of the first and second pigments. Weight percents are by combined weight of the first, second and third pigments.

    摘要: An electrophoretic display medium and preparing method thereof. The electrophoretic display medium comprises: negatively or positively-charged pigment particles; neutral pigment particles with colors different from the charged pigment particles; and low-polar and/or non-polar dispersing solvent. The method of preparing the electrophoretic display medium comprises: synthesizing neutral pigment particles; synthesizing charged pigment particles; and preparing electrophoretic display medium. The method of synthesizing the neutral pigment particles comprises: mixing together pigment particles, macromonomers, coupling-agents and chain-initiators for polymeric reaction in the solvent, and reacting at a temperature of 30-120° C. for 4-48 hours. The method is applied to many kinds of inorganic oxides, inorganic salts and complex inorganic salt pigments. This method fundamentally avoids agglomeration caused by attraction of positively and negatively-charged electrophoretic particles, greatly enhancing display performance. The steps of synthesizing particles are simple and the preparing procedure of the electrophoretic medium is simplified, making the whole process simple and highly efficient.
