摘要： A technique enabling several kinds of contents information to be used in terminals like cellular phones, regardless of the type of terminals without burdening contents providers. A contents conversion server receives, from a terminal, access destination information such as a URL of a contents providing server, and type information on the terminal or on its browser. Next, if the access destination information is interpreted to point to contents information not in the contents conversion server, but in the contents providing server, as an access destination, the contents conversion server obtains the pointed to contents information from the contents providing server. Then, the contents conversion server converts an arbitrary type of obtained contents information, based on the type of information, and moreover, converts the link information, if included, in accordance with a predetermined rule. Consequently, the contents conversion server sends converted contents information to the terminal.

摘要： There are provided: a data communication system, a relay apparatus, and a portable terminal apparatus in which when a mobile portable terminal apparatus such as a mobile telephone displays a screen based on display screen definition data received from a central apparatus, the exception handling of the data communication can be dynamically changed according to the communication environment of the portable terminal apparatus. The central apparatus adds, to the display screen definition data, communication control data where an exception handling procedure for communication between the portable terminal apparatus and the central apparatus is set. The portable terminal apparatus displays an image based on the display screen definition data received from the central apparatus, and performs data communication with the central apparatus according to the communication control data extracted from the display screen definition data.

(1) A security manager authenticates an authentication target with a prepared authentication method in response to a login request from the authentication target. (3) A database access unit authenticates the authentication target with the authentication method in response to the authentication request. (4) In response to a database access request from the application execution unit, the database access unit accesses a database in a portable terminal device depending on the authentication performed by the database access unit.

A determination section determines whether or not the mobile terminal is in a state in which the transmission data can be transmitted to the server. A communication scheduler permits a data communication section to transmit the transmission data to the server based on the result of determination of the determination section. The data communication section transmits the transmission data to the server in response to permission of the communication scheduler.

摘要： A computer-readable recording medium having recorded therein a telephone-call connection program for controlling telephone calling with the schedule of the other party of a call and a call importance level therefor being taken into account. A connection-request receiving block extracts a transmission-source telephone number and a transmission-destination telephone number and identifies the other party of the call from the transmission-destination telephone number. Then, a call-importance-level determination block determines the call importance level of the call for the other party of the call. A schedule determination block determines whether the current time falls in a response-rejection time zone of the other party of the call. A connection determination block determines according to the response-rejection time zone and the call importance level whether telephone calling is necessary. When telephone calling is necessary, a telephone calling block makes telephone calling directed to a terminal corresponding to the transmission-destination telephone number.

A management data communication interface communicates management data regularly with a management server, while an application data communication interface communicates application data with an application server on a demand basis. A data collision detector detects a collision between the management data and application data. If a collision is detected, a priority resolver determines whether to prioritize application data over management data. The management data suppressor suspends the management data communication interface when the priority resolver has determined that application data should be prioritized over management data.

摘要： In order to provide a technique of enabling any user to browse data of a table in a desired hierarchical structure, an HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) file processing method comprises: if an HTML file containing a table definition is received from another server in response to a request from a terminal of a user, referring to a hierarchical display definition data storage for storing hierarchical display definition data of a table preset by the user for a specific HTML file containing a table definition, and specifying a hierarchical display definition data for the received HTML file; and by extracting display elements to be displayed at a first hierarchical layer of the received HTML file according to the specified hierarchical display definition data, generating and transmitting to the terminal of the user, an HTML file for the first hierarchical layer. Accordingly, the HTML file containing the table definition is reconstructed by using the hierarchical display definition data set by the user, and thus the user can efficiently browse desired data in the table.

A communication request monitor acquires a communication request issued from a terminal device to a server, and extracts version information of a client application from the communication request. An upgrade determination unit determines whether the extracted version information shows the latest version, and determines that upgrade is necessary if the version is not the latest version. A setting file transmitter sends the communication request to the server if the upgrade determination unit does not determine that the upgrade is necessary. If the upgrade is necessary, on the contrary, the setting file transmitter discards the communication request and sends the client application setting file for the latest version to the terminal device sending the communication request.
