摘要： An apparatus for performing communication by a dual network terminal is disclosed. The dual network terminal is a dual network and dual standby terminal, and the apparatus includes an application subsystem, a 3G wireless communication subsystem, a 2G wireless communication subsystem and an identity identification module. The 3G wireless communication subsystem is connected with 2G wireless communication subsystem, and wireless protocol stacks of the 3G wireless communication subsystem and 2G wireless communication subsystem include a virtual identity identification card administration module respectively. A method for performing communication by a dual network terminal is disclosed, including the 3G wireless communication subsystem reading information of identity identification card in the first virtual identity identification card administration module of 2G wireless communication subsystem into an owned second virtual identity identification card administration module, communicating with 3G network by using information of identity identification card in the second virtual identity identification card administration module.

摘要： The present invention discloses a method for startup of dual-network terminal. The method includes: the application subsystem receiving a push-button signal of startup, and initializing peripherals and an application program after powering up; the application subsystem controlling the 2G wireless communication subsystem to power up, the 2G wireless communication subsystem constructing a first virtual SIM proxy module in a protocol stack thereof, reading information in the SIM card in the subscriber identity module, and storing information in the SIM card into first virtual SIM proxy module; and the application subsystem controlling the 3G wireless communication subsystem to power up, the 3G wireless communication subsystem constructing a second virtual SIM proxy module in a protocol stack thereof, reading information of SIM card in the first virtual SIM proxy module into second virtual SIM proxy module. The present invention further discloses a method for shutdown of dual-network terminal and a dual-network terminal.

The dual-network dual-standby terminal includes an application module, a first communication module and a second communication module. When a user of the dual-network dual-standby terminal initiates a Circuit Switched (CS) service, the application module selects the first communication module, and the first communication module performs communication through a 2G network; when a user of the dual-network dual-standby terminal initiates a Packet Switched (PS) service, the application module selects the second communication module, and the second communication module performs communication through a 3G network or a 2G network.
