摘要： The image processing apparatus includes: a color conversion unit color-converting an image signal of a first color space into that of a second color space with a color conversion characteristic defining a correspondence relationship between the image signals; an adjustment unit adjusting the image signal of the second color space with adjustment conversion factor groups that is for adjusting it in accordance with a change in the color conversion characteristic, and is set for respective types of sheets on which an image is to be printed according to the image signal of the second color space; a calculation unit calculating the adjustment conversion factor groups; a memory storing an associating factor group associating, with each other, the adjustment conversion factor groups; and an update unit updating the adjustment conversion factor groups according to the calculated adjustment conversion factor group of one sheet and the stored associating factor group.

摘要： An image processing apparatus is connected to and accesses a database that stores items of characteristic quantity information to be used for recognizing, in image data, respective objects and items of color information of the respective objects, the characteristic quantity information and the color information are correlated with each other for the respective objects. A controller performs image recognition processing on image data using the items of characteristic quantity information stored in the database, and acquires color information of an object that has been recognized in the image data by the image recognition processing. The controller searches the database to retrieve the color information indicating a color of the object recognized by the image recognition processing, and identifies a color space of the image data by comparing the acquired color information with the retrieved color information.

摘要： An LUT1 preparation section 1 and an LUT2 preparation section 2 prepare an LUT1 and an LUT2 for producing linear output from first raw data or second raw data. Using the LUT1 and LUT2, an LUT1 conversion section 3 and an LUT2 inverse conversion section 4 convert CMYK of the first raw data and C′M′Y′K′ of the second raw data into four color values adjusted, and an L matching LUT preparation section 5 prepares an L matching LUT so that the K value of the four color values adjusted becomes equal. A K preservation 4DLUT preparation section 6 prepares a K preservation 4DLUT from the four color values adjusted, the L matching LUT, and the Lab value of the first and second raw data. A 4DLUT reset section 7 resets some of data in the prepared K preservation 4DLUT, whereby partial calorimetric match is intended.

摘要： An image processing apparatus for simulating a print output of a printing machine. The image processing apparatus firstly acquires color value information for converting color value information of image data so that a color reproduced on one surface of a recording medium by the printing machine based on the color value information is reproduced as an output. The image processing apparatus secondly acquires show-through color profile information for converting the color value information so that the color reproduced on the one surface by the printing machine as seen from the other surface is reproduced. The image processing apparatus then generates image data formed by composing first image data obtained by converting the color value information based on the color profile information, with second image data obtained by converting the color value information based on the show-through color profile information and by inverting the converted color value information horizontally or vertically.
