摘要： A graphic display apparatus for displaying a graphic which is represented by binary bit map data includes: a display device including a plurality of sub-pixels; and a control section for controlling the display device, wherein the plurality of sub-pixels form a plurality of groups, each of the plurality of groups includes a predetermined plural number of sub-pixels, and the control section assigns each of bits included in the bit map data to one of the plurality of groups and displays the graphic by controlling sub-pixels included in the one of the plurality of groups based on information about bits located in the vicinity of the bit assigned to the one of the plurality of groups.

摘要： A character display apparatus includes: a display device having a plurality of pixels; and a control section for controlling the display device, wherein: each of the pixels includes a plurality of sub-pixels arranged along a predetermined direction; a corresponding one of a plurality of color elements is pre-assigned to each of the sub-pixels; an intensity of each of the color elements is represented stepwise through a plurality of color element levels; the control section executes tasks of: setting each of the sub-pixels to one of the color element levels; according to a relationship between the plurality of color element levels and a plurality of brightness levels, converting the color element level for each of the sub-pixels to a corresponding brightness level among the plurality of brightness levels; and changing the relationship according to at least one of character color information which defines a color of a character to be displayed on the display device and background color information which defines a background color of the character.

摘要： An electronic sewing machine capable of forming a buttonhole having a circular stitching part. The machine has manually operated members for setting thread thickness and button size. A stitch data generator is provided, which is capable of selectively generating one of plural different groups of stitch data for forming different buttonholes which have a different number of stitches at their circular stitching part. The specific group of stitch data is selected according to code signals fed in accordance with the positions of the manually operated members. The position of each stitch contained in the circular stitching part of the buttonhole is determined by each stitch data of the selected group. Thus, the desired buttonhole is sewn neatly without crowded or lean stitches.

摘要： An electronic sewing machine capable of sewing a buttonhole having a circular stitching part. The machine is operative selectively in one of automatic and manual modes. In the automatic mode, bight position of a needle and feed position of a feed dog are automatically controlled according to stored bight and feed data. In the manual mode, the bight and feed positions determined by the stored data are adjusted by a data adjusting circuit. The machine comprises a circuit which supplies the data adjustment circuit with a signal to inhibit the adjustment of at least the feed data for each stitch to be formed in the circular stitching part.

The CPU determines whether a thickness of a character is to be altered or not from a standard thickness, and determines whether the process of altering the thickness of each constituent element in the element outline shape data is to be performed by calculation, or by replacing the element with an alternative element in the case where character thickness is to be altered. The CPU then alters the thickness in the element outline shape data according to the determination and deforms the element skeleton shape data based on the character shape skeleton data. Associated therewith, the CPU alters the element outline shape data based on the altered element skeleton shape data and generates a character pattern from the altered element outline shape data.
