摘要： Provided is an air mattress in which internal pressure can be controlled according to the movements of a bed.The air mattress is provided with a plurality of air cell groups lined up in the lengthwise direction of the air mattress, each of which groups is made from a plurality of bladder-shaped cells; an air supply/release pump; and an air tube connecting the air cell groups and the air supply/release pump in an independent system for each air cell group of two or more air cell groups out of said air cell groups. Air supply/release by the air supply/release pump to each of the air cell groups is controlled by a controller, at least a part of information needed to control the bed is received from an external sensor for detecting such information, and air supply/release by the air supply/release pump for each of the air cell groups is controlled on the basis of the received information.

摘要： Various means for detecting the load on the bottom of a bed are proposed, but they have various problems, since the load sensor is provided separately from a bed or installed outside a bed.This invention solves the abovementioned problems by a load sensor-containing actuator in which one end side of a screw shaft 1 is rotatably supported by a base body 2; a female threaded member 3 is engaged with the screw shaft; and an actuation rod body 4 fixed to the female threaded member can advance and retreat in the axial direction of the screw shaft, wherein the base body is provided with a thrust bearing 6 coaxially with the screw shaft and an actuation cylinder 7 supporting the one end side of the screw shaft in the axial direction via the thrust bearing; a detection cylinder 9 is provided between the actuation cylinder and a support member 8 for the base body; and a strain gauge 10 is attached to the outside surface of the detection cylinder.The present invention relates to a foldable side rail for a bed or the like, particularly a foldable side rail in which multiple strut members are pivotally rotatably connected between an upper crosspiece member and a lower crosspiece member to form a parallel link mechanism.

摘要： An energy absorbing steering apparatus for a vehicle includes a support member for supporting a steering column by detachably attaching the steering column to a vehicle body and an energy absorption apparatus for relatively movably supporting the steering column relative to the vehicle body in a frontward direction of the vehicle body. The energy absorbing steering apparatus is designed for absorbing impact energy applied to the steering column. The energy absorption apparatus includes a support pin supported by the steering column, a first absorption member provided along the support pin and having a connection portion provided at one end of the first absorption member and connected to the vehicle body for applying load to the support pin when the support pin moves relative to the support member, a second absorption member provided along the support pin and having a connection portion provided at one end of the second absorption member and connected to the vehicle body for applying load to the support pin when the support pin moves relative to the support member, a connection member connected to the connection portion of the first absorption member and the connection portion of the second absorption member for connecting the first absorption member and the second absorption member to the vehicle body, and a control apparatus for controlling the connection member to change the number of absorption members connected to the vehicle body corresponding to a drive condition.
