摘要: A bed system including an acquisition unit and a display, in which the acquisition unit acquires user interface device information from a plurality of user interface devices and the display displays a plurality of images corresponding respectively to the plurality of user interface devices on a single screen based on the user interface device information. One set of the plurality of user interface device information includes state information including at least one of bed state information relating to the state of one bed among a plurality of beds and user state information relating to the state of a user of the one bed among the plurality of beds. One image among the plurality of images includes a state display corresponding to the state information. When the state information is abnormal, the first display displays a warning display on the one image among the plurality of images.

摘要: A patient support apparatus, such as a bed, cot, stretcher, etc., includes a scale system adapted to automatically monitor changes in a patient's weight over the course of a patient's stay within a healthcare facility. A controller onboard the patient support apparatus is configured to take an initial weight reading of the patient when he or she is first assigned to the patient support apparatus, and to thereafter repetitively compare the patient's current weight to that initial weight reading. If the difference exceeds a threshold, the controller issues a notification. The threshold may be user-customizable and/or it may be adaptive based on s statistical analysis of the patient's weight fluctuations. A control panel may be included to allow a caregiver to select between using a non-adaptive threshold or an adaptive threshold, and/or to select a value for the non-adaptive threshold. The notification may be transmitted to the caregiver's smart phone.

摘要: A patient support may be adjustable in height, width, length or a combination thereof. The patient support may be usable with normal sized patients or with bariatric patients. The patient support has a variety of features to enhance operability and/or functionality, including a width adjustable caster frame, width adjustable deck portions, a width adjustable headboard and an extendible foot board to provide extra length. An enhanced lift mechanism can accommodate bariatric patients and alternative functionality in achieving deck positions improves patient comfort. Various parts of the patient support including deck panels and the footboard may be removed and replaced with ease without complicated connectors.

摘要: A caregiver assistance system for assisting a caregiver in a healthcare facility to perform his or her rounding duties comprises a server in communication with one or more patient beds and one or more electronic devices (e.g. smart phones) that are remote from the beds and that include a display, a user input, and a web browser. The server executes a caregiver assistance application that causes the electronic device to perform the following actions after the web browser of the electronic device accesses a particular URL whose content and function are controlled by the caregiver assistance application: (a) display rounding information on the display relating to a patient associated with the bed, and (b) forward a completion indication to the caregiver assistance application wherein the completion indication is generated in response to a caregiver manipulating the user input when the caregiver has completed a rounding task associated with the patient.

摘要: A patient support apparatus for supporting a patient includes first, second, and third transceivers mounted at first, second, and third locations, respectively. A controller is adapted to use radio frequency communication between the first, second, and third transceivers and an infusion pump to determine a position of the infusion pump relative to the patient support apparatus. The controller, and/or a server in communication with the controller, is configured to double-check a dosage of medication being delivered via the infusion pump to the patient in order to help avoid incorrect dosing. The controller and/or server are adapted to automatically retrieve dosage information from the infusion pump, either directly or indirectly, and use the dosage information in combination with the patient's weight, as determined by a scale system on the patient support apparatus, to issue an alert if too high of a dosage is being administered to the patient.

摘要: An adjustable patient support apparatus comprises a base, a support frame, and a patient support deck. The patient support deck comprises articulating deck sections, such as a leg section, seat section, and a back section pivotally coupled together. One or more actuators may be configured to move the leg and/or back section between a lowered position and one or more raised positions. The seat section may include one or more articulating seats to assist with ingress and egress from the patient support apparatus. The one or more seats may be articulated manually or electrically via a lever or actuator.

摘要: A person support apparatus, such as a bed, cot, stretcher, chair, or the like, includes a frame, a support surface supported by the frame, a plurality of load cells that detect weight supported on the support surface, at least one A/D converter, and a controller. The load cells output analog signals that are converted to digital by the A/D converters. The controller switches a sampling rate of the A/D converters between at least first and second rates. The outputs from the load cells are forwarded to a plurality of signal acquisition nodes that include the A/D converters. The nodes are positioned at locations that minimize the length of travel of the analog signals, thereby reducing noise interference. Shivering, occupant absence/presence, vital signs, occupant movement, and/or other parameters are detected by the load cells.

摘要: A patient turning device for a patient support apparatus. The patient turning device includes a first and second bladder assembly each including a plurality of layers and seals defining a bladder volume. The bladder volumes are selectively inflatable with fluid to expand the respective bladder assembly, and consequently move a patient support surface of the patient support apparatus. A portion of a lower layer of the first bladder assembly and a portion of an upper layer of the second bladder assembly define an overlapping region of the bladder volumes. The patient turning device is coupled to an underside of a carrier sheet and positioned between a crib assembly and a bottom cover. An augmenting feature is configured to resiliently expand as at least one of the first and second bladder assemblies receives the fluid to move at least a portion of the crib assembly away from a patient support deck.

摘要: A patient support apparatus, such as a bed, stretcher, cot, or the like, includes a frame, a support surface, a control, a controller, and a transceiver. The patient support apparatus employs one or more machine learning techniques to perform one or more of the following: automatically implement one or more user-preferred settings, automatically predict the occurrence of one or more events based on analyses of prior events, and/or automatically improve one or more algorithms based on analyses of additional sensor data. The machine learning techniques may be implemented onboard the patient support apparatus and/or may be implemented at a remote computer device (e.g. a server) that collates and analyzes data from multiple patient support apparatuses, and then sends the results of the analyses back to the patient support apparatuses.
