摘要： A sheet processing apparatus is provided with a processing tray on which sheets are to be stacked and subjected to a processing, a stack tray provided in the downstream of the processing tray with respect to the sheet conveying direction on which sheets are to be stacked, an oscillation roller pair for conveying the sheets stacked on the processing tray to the stack tray, and a trailing edge assist for conveying the sheet stacked on the processing tray toward the stack tray. The sheets stacked on the processing tray are discharged to the stack tray by the oscillation roller pair and the trailing edge assist.

摘要： The present invention provides a sheet processing apparatus comprising a sheet holding device capable of storing supplied sheets, a first sheet stacking tray on which sheets are stacked at a downstream side of the sheet holding device in a sheet conveying direction and on which the sheets are subjected to processing, a sheet discharging device for discharging the sheets stacked on the first sheet stacking tray, a second sheet stacking tray on which the sheets discharged by the sheet discharging device are stacked, and a controller for controlling the sheet discharging device and the sheet holding device if sheet jam occurs at an upstream side of the sheet holding device, in such a manner that, after the sheets on the first sheet stacking tray are discharged onto the second sheet stacking tray, the sheets stored in the sheet holding device are discharged onto the first sheet stacking tray.

摘要： There is provided a sheet processing apparatus that is capable of preventing sheets conveyed to the sheet processing apparatus from being skewed, wrinkled, damaged, or jammed, and prevent sheets stored in the sheet processing apparatus from being misaligned. The sheet processing apparatus receives a sheet discharged from an image forming apparatus comprising fixing rollers that hold and convey a sheet on which is formed an image at a first conveying speed and with a first conveying force, discharge rollers disposed downstream of the fixing rollers in a sheet conveying direction, for conveying the sheet at a second conveying speed higher than the first conveying speed and with a second conveying force smaller than the first conveying force, and a controller that determines whether a trailing end of the sheet is released from the fixing rollers. In the sheet processing apparatus, sheet discharge rollers convey the received sheet, and a controller sets the conveying speed of the sheet discharge rollers to the first conveying speed while the sheet is being conveyed by all of the fixing rollers, the discharge rollers, and the sheet discharge rollers, and sets the conveying speed of the sheet discharge rollers to the second conveying speed after the controller determines that the trailing end of the sheet is released from the fixing rollers.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a feeding unit for sequentially feeding a plurality of originals to an exposure plate, an exposure unit, which is movable along the exposure plate, for exposing the original on the exposure plate, an image forming unit for forming on a sheet an image on the original that is exposed by the exposure unit, and a control unit for providing either a first copying operation, in which the original is shifted by the feeding unit while the exposure unit is halted to perform copying, or a second copying operation, in which the exposure unit is shifted while the originals that are fed by the feeding unit are halted on the exposure plate. When the control unit executes a first mode in (e.g. copies>1) which the second copying operation is performed following the first copying operation, the feeding unit feeds the originals while maintaining a first constant distance between a leading end of a preceding original and a leading end of a succeeding original, and wherein, when the control unit executes a second mode (e.g. copies=1) in which only the first copying operation is performed, the feeding unit feeds the originals while maintaining a second constant distance between a trailing end of a preceding original and a leading end of a succeeding original.

摘要： An apparatus for executing a printing process on the basis of a print job from an external apparatus, comprises a post-processing unit which can apply post-processing for printed paper sheets using paper sheets prepared independently of the printed paper sheets; a detector for detecting in the post-processing means that the paper sheets prepared independently of the printed paper sheets are set; determination means for determining whether or not print start trigger information is attached to the print job, which indicates an instruction to start printing in response to trigger information to start printing; and print control means for, (i) when a print job designated with the post-processing by the post-processing unit is received and it is determined that the print start trigger information is attached to the received print job, delaying a process of the print job until the detector detects that the paper sheets are set, and starting execution of the print job when the detector detects that the paper sheets are set, (ii) and when a print job designated with the post-processing by the post-processing unit is received and it is determined that the print start trigger information is not attached to the received print job, starting the received print job independently of a detection by the detector.
