    摘要: A transporting belt constituting a transport device transports a medium supported by a front surface in a transport direction. A removal unit includes a blade that comes into contact with the front surface to remove an adhering substance. A plurality of detectors detect a force received by the blade from the transporting belt or a change in the force. A display unit displays information. An adjustment unit is configured to adjust a position of the blade relative to the transporting belt. Each of the detectors are provided corresponding to a respective one of a plurality of regions into which the transporting belt is divided in the width direction intersecting the transport direction. When the control unit determines that there is an abnormal region among the regions based on detection results of the detectors, the control unit causes the display unit to display information indicating the abnormal region.

    摘要: There is described a method for processing bundles (5) of securities, in particular banknote bundles, during production thereof, the method comprising the steps of (a) processing stacks of sheets (SS), each carrying an array of multiple security prints arranged in a matrix of rows and columns, into successive sets (2) of consecutive bundles (5) of securities arranged side-by-side, (b) forming at least one intermediate pile (8; 8*) of consecutive bundles (5) by placing the consecutive bundles (5) of a set (2) one on top of the other, and (c) successively ejecting bundles (5) one-by-one from a bottom of the said at least one intermediate pile (8; 8*) and conveying each ejected bundle (5) with a determined spacing from a preceding and/or following ejected bundle (5). There is also described a bundle processing system to carry out the above method.

    摘要: A conveying unit receives a sheet from an upstream unit and conveys the sheet on a conveying path. A stacking unit stacks the sheet conveyed from the conveying unit. An aligning unit sets the sheet back in a direction opposite to a sheet conveying direction and aligns the sheet by bumping the sheet against a reference wall. A sheet discharging unit discharges the sheet aligned on the stacking unit. When a predetermined condition is satisfied, a control unit sets a timing for discharging the sheet by the sheet discharging unit earlier than a normal sheet discharge timing.
