A telescopic pipe connection device includes a fixing sleeve mounted on an outer pipe; a setting-up case internally defining a slide way and a horizontal through hole, the latter extending through the setting-up case and a front wall of the fixing sleeve to communicate with the slide way; a cap fixed to an open front side of the setting-up case and having a receiving hole; a locating pin located in the horizontal through hole with a first end extended through the outer pipe into a limiting hole on an inner pipe and a second end engaged with the receiving hole, and having at least one coupling lever provided thereon; a return spring fitted on the locating pin with two ends pressed against the coupling lever and the cap; and a pushbutton slidably received in the slide way with a lower front slant working face pressed against the coupling lever.

A locating device for slide joint is mounted to an inner member provided with at least one locating hole and an outer member provided with a through hole and slidably fitted on the inner member. The locating device includes a mounting seat mounted on the outer member; a pushbutton pivotally connected to the mounting seat and having an engaging section located at an end thereof; a torsion spring arranged between the pushbutton and the mounting seat to apply a constant torque on the pushbutton; and a locating rod having two spaced annular ribs. The engaging section of the pushbutton is located between the two annular ribs to selectively press against one of the two inner annular ribs under the torque of the torsion spring. The locating rod has an inner end extended through the through hole on the outer member to insert into the locating hole on the inner member.

The present invention provides a method for preparing 20-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-20(S)-protopanaxadiol (Ginsenoside M1) by using Sanqis leaves and stems. The method of the invention includes the steps of: (a) provides powder of Sanqi leaves and stems; (b) provides a fungus for fermenting the Sanqi leaves and stems, wherein the fermentation temperature is ranged from 20-50° C., the fermentation humidity is ranged from 70-100%, the pH value is ranged from 4.0-6.0, and the fermentation period is ranged from 5-15 days; (c) extracts and collects the fermentation products; and (d) isolates 20-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-20(S)-protopanaxadiol from the fermentation products.

Disclosed are a method and system for magnifying and displaying local image of a touch display device. When an object is detected to be approaching an effective touch zone on a touch surface of a touch panel, the distance or altitude between the approaching object at a position on the effective touch zone of the touch panel where the approaching object heads for and the touch surface of the touch panel is determined. When the distance is less than a first predefined approaching altitude, a target graphic representation associated with the position of the approaching object on the touch panel is first enlarged and then, based on a second predefined approaching altitude, an operation of magnification of the local area or the target graphic representation displayed on a display panel corresponding to the position of the approaching object or execution of an executable object linked to the graphic representation is carried out. The second predefined approaching altitude can be defined as being in contact with the touch surface of the touch panel.

A connecting mechanism for a battery case and a main body of a portable electronic device includes a main body (10), a connecting member (20), a cover (30), and a shaft (40). The main body has a receptacle (162), and a recessed portion (192) for receiving the battery case. The connecting member has a body (22) and one or more mounting portions (24). The cover defines a sliding space. The shaft extends through the mounting portions and is received in the receptacle. Thus the connecting member is rotatable relative to the main body about the shaft. The connecting member is received in the sliding space and can slide along the sliding space relative to the cover. Thus the cover is both rotatable and slidable relative to the main body, and need not be detached from the main body.

A pivot mechanism and a tent frame using same are disclosed. The pivot mechanism includes a first unit having two spaced mounting brackets formed with a pivot hole each; and a second unit including a main body, two protruded shafts movably connected to two opposite side surfaces of the main body, and an elastic member connected to the protruded shafts. The protruded shafts can shift between a compressed position, in which a smallest distance between two protruded end surfaces of the protruded shafts is not larger than a distance between two facing sides of the mounting brackets, and a sprung-out position, in which the two protruded shafts are protruded from the side surfaces of the main body into the pivot holes on the mounting brackets. When the second unit is pushed to a proper position between the two mounting brackets, the protruded shafts will automatically extend into the pivot holes.

A pivotal connection mechanism for pivotally connecting a first and a second rod includes a first and a second connection seat respectively having a fitting surface, on which a rotation-limiting member is provided. The two rotation-limiting members are separately non-rotatably engaged with two rotation-limiting slots separately provided on two outer side surfaces of the first and second rods facing away from each other. A pivot shaft is extended through the first connection seat, the first rod, the second rod, and the second connection seat and locked thereto. With the rotation-limiting members non-rotatably engaged with the rotation-limiting slots on the first and second rods, the first and second connection seats are attached to the first and second rods and do not rotate when the pivot shaft is turned to extend into or loosen from the two rods, enabling the two rods to be conveniently connected to or separated from each other.
