    摘要: Fault-sensing and protecting apparatus for soft start circuit of inverter and method for the same are proposed. The soft start circuit of inverter includes a soft-starting resistor and a relay. The relay has a normally-open end connected to the soft-starting resistor in parallel. The fault-sensing and protecting apparatus for soft start circuit includes a central processing unit (CPU) and a photo coupler. The CPU is electrically connected to the inverter and an input end of the relay, respectively. The photo coupler includes a light emitting diode (LED) and a photo transistor. The LED is first electrically connected to a resistor in series and then electrically connected to the soft-starting resistor in parallel. The photo transistor is electrically connected to CPU. After the inverter starts to work, the CPU cuts out voltage applied to the inverter if the LED is lit. Therefore, the inverter can be prevented from damage.

A splitting processor receives a splitting instruction containing a splitting number n, and splits the display zone into a main display region and a number (n-i) of extension display regions. A total number of width pixels of adjacent ones of the main and extension display regions from left to right of the display zone equals the number of width pixels of the screen. A total number of height pixels of adjacent ones of the main and extension display regions from top to bottom of the display zone equals the number of height pixels of the screen. A display module displays two or more operating interfaces, files, and/or pages of at least one application in the main and extension display regions, respectively.

    摘要: An input method for use in an electronic device having a touch-sensitive screen is disclosed. The method comprises the following steps. An input signal is first received. Then, at least one control item corresponding to the specific program is displayed on the touch-sensitive screen in which the control item has a corresponding control area within the touch-sensitive screen. Next, it is determined whether a confirmation input signal inputted to the corresponding control area of the touch-sensitive screen is detected. A parameter of the control item is adjusted according to the confirmation input signal when the confirmation input signal has been detected.

    摘要: A sequence based indexing and retrieval method for a collection of text documents includes the steps of generating a query token sequence from a query; generating at least a representative token sequence from each of the documents that contain at least one token of the query token sequence; measuring a similarity between each of the representative token sequences and the query token sequence; and retrieving the text document in responsive to the similarity of the representative query token sequence with respect to the query token sequence. The similarity measurement is preformed by determining a token appearance score, a token order score, and a token consecutiveness score of the representative token sequence with respect to the query token sequence, so as to illustrate the similarity between the representative token sequence and the query token sequence for precisely and effectively retrieving the text document.
