A method for presenting application list is disclosed, which is applied to an electronic device. The method includes activating a list arrangement program which reads several applications and generates categorized application list accordingly. Each application is associated with one of the categories, and includes objects representing the application. The categorized application list includes several groups, each of them includes a category name of one category and the objects associating with one or more applications under the category. The method further includes receiving the control command for displaying one of the groups at the index region of the user interface of the electronic device. The index region is arranged at the side of the user interface. Thus, an application list which is categorized may be provided for improving the convenience of accessing applications.

A system for splitting a display zone of a screen is installed in an electronic device having a screen, and includes a detecting module for detecting screen pixels. A splitting processor receives a splitting instruction containing a splitting number n, and splits the display zone into a main display region and a number (n−1) of extension display regions. A total number of width pixels of adjacent ones of the main and extension display regions from left to right of the display zone equals the number of width pixels of the screen. A total number of height pixels of adjacent ones of the main and extension display regions from top to bottom of the display zone equals the number of height pixels of the screen. A display module displays two or more operating interfaces, files, and/or pages of at least one application in the main and extension display regions, respectively.

In an input method and an input system for an electronic device, an electronic device having input functionality and content displaying functionality, and a content displaying method and a displaying system for an electronic device, the electronic device is provided with a sensing screen, and the input method includes the following steps: displaying a plurality of virtual keys; receiving an input signal; displaying a corresponding enlarged virtual key on the sensing screen; and detecting whether there is an input of a confirm input signal, and outputting a virtual key code corresponding to the confirm input signal if affirmative.

An electronic device and a method for implementing an icon board based operation interface thereof are provided. In the method, a plurality of areas within a screen frame on a screen of the electronic device are arranged for respectively displaying a plurality of function boards, in which each of the function boards is corresponding to one of a plurality of main functions supported by the electronic device. For each main function including at least one sub-function, a sub-function icon thereof is generated according to a relevant historical operating information, and a main function icon of the main function and the sub-function icon of each sub-function are displayed together on the function board of the main function.

An input method for use in an electronic device having a touch-sensitive screen is disclosed. The method comprises the following steps. An input signal is first received. Then, at least one control item corresponding to the specific program is displayed on the touch-sensitive screen in which the control item has a corresponding control area within the touch-sensitive screen. Next, it is determined whether a confirmation input signal inputted to the corresponding control area of the touch-sensitive screen is detected. A parameter of the control item is adjusted according to the confirmation input signal when the confirmation input signal has been detected.

A gate insulation layer is formed to cover the scan line and gate electrode. A semiconductor layer is formed on the gate insulation layer above the gate electrode. A data line, source and drain are formed in each pixel area. A first passivation layer covers the data line, source and drain. A common line is formed on the first passivation layer and overlaps with at least a portion of the data line. A common electrode is formed on and electrically connected with the common line. A second passivation layer covers the common electrode and common line. A contact window is formed in the second passivation layer above the drain to expose the drain. A pixel electrode is electrically connected with the drain through the contact window.
