    摘要: A channel wafer has a plurality of nozzle flow channels and a common ink reservoir. Pits communicating with the ink reservoir from above heating elements are formed in a polyimide layer on a heater wafer. Each of the pits has a throttled portion in the rear of the heating element and the terminal of a nozzle flow channel is situated on the throttled portion so as to form the minimum sectional area portion of the flow channel. Stable ink discharge characteristics are attained by means of the flow channel resistance of the minimum sectional area portion and bubble pressure is prevented from being relieved toward the ink reservoir. The pressure propagated to the ink reservoir is made to attenuate internally, so that no crosstalk is produced.

    摘要: A method for detecting a deflection amount of ink jets according to the present invention applied to an ink jet printer is effected by projecting light upon a flying ink drop, and detecting deflection amount of the ink drop on the basis of behavior of the light reflected by the ink drop. Further, a device for detecting a deflection amount of ink jets according to the invention utilizing the above method comprises a light emitting device for emitting the light, one or plural light receiving devices for receiving the light reflected by the ink drops a signal processing circuit for producing a detection signal indicative of the deflection amount of the above ink drop on the basis of the presence or absence and the level of the output of the light receiving device.

    摘要: An inkjet recording head is disclosed. In the inkjet recording head, a pressure chamber, in which ink is filled, communicates with a nozzle which ejects ink droplets. An ink pooling chamber communicates, via an ink flow path, with the pressure chamber. Ink is supplied from the ink pooling chamber through the ink flow path to the pressure chamber. A piezoelectric element, and a driving IC which applies voltage to the piezoelectric element, are provided on a same substrate. A vibrating plate, which structures a portion of the pressure chamber, is displaced by the piezoelectric element. A wire, which is for energizing the driving IC, is formed at a top plate of the ink pooling chamber which is provided at a side of the vibrating plate opposite a side at which the pressure chamber is provided. An inkjet recording apparatus equipped with this inkjet recording head also is disclosed.
