摘要: A sender device 1 stores, in header information about image information, information indicating that attribute information and image data rearranged in sequence, and produces image information by means of storing attribute information and image data in a predetermined sequence. The thus-produced image information is sent to a receiver device 2 by way of a network line 3. When receipt of image information is initiated, the receiver device 2 refers to the header information, thereby determining presence/absence, in the header information, of information indicating that attribute information and image data are stored in a predetermined sequence. When it has been determined that attribute information and image data are arranged in a predetermined sequence, image data included in the received image information are immediately decompressed, and the thus-decompressed image data are output in the form of a record or display.

摘要: An image of an original document supplied from a scanner portion or the like is, in an attribute-determining portion, subjected to a process for determining whether each pixel is a character pixel or a picture pixel. Thus, separating information is transmitted to a two-layer separating portion and transmitted to a resolution converting portion as data of a separating information plane. The two-layer separating portion separates the image of the original document into a character information plane and a picture information plane in accordance with separating information. The resolution converting portion has a plurality of resolution converting methods. In accordance with transmission attribute information supplied from outside, a transmission-attribute-information recognizing portion selects a resolution converting method independently for each plane. The resolution converting portion uses the selected resolution converting method to subject each plane to the resolution converting process. Each plane submitted to the resolution conversion is formatted in an image-format-lapping portion so as to be transmitted from a transmitting portion through a network.

摘要: A fluid-filled elastic mount wherein an elastic body elastically connecting a first and a second support partially defines a fluid chamber filled with a non-compressible fluid. The elastic mount further includes an oscillating plate which partially defines the fluid chamber and which is supported by the second support such that the oscillating plate is displaceable relative to the second support, and an electrostrictive/magnetostrictive element for oscillating the oscillating plate to thereby change a pressure of the fluid in the fluid chamber. The second support has a small-diameter cylindrical portion to which the elastic body is secured, and a large-diameter cylindrical portion in which the oscillating plate having a large surface area is accommodated. The electrostrictive/magnetostrictive element is interposed between the oscillating plate and a support member fixed to the second support.

摘要: A method of supporting an exhaust pipe for an engine of a motor vehicle, on a vehicle body is disclosed. Initially, the exhaust pipe is formed such that the pipe is flexible at an intermediate point thereof in the vicinity of a rear axle of the vehicle, on which a nodal point of a primary natural vibration mode of the vehicle lies. The exhaust pipe has a rear section which extends rearwards from the intermediate point. Then, the rear section of the exhaust pipe is elastically supported on the vehicle body, such that the rear section is oscillatable about the intermediate point relative to the vehicle body. With a natural frequency of the rear section of the exhaust pipe tuned to a primary natural frequency of the vehicle body, the rear section of the pipe serves as a dynamic damper for the vehicle body. Also disclosed is a support structure for supporting the exhaust pipe in the manner described above.

摘要: A storage part stores correspondence information on incorporation or change in processing sequence of processing elements. An acquiring part acquires a target processing element group. An extracting part extracts the correspondence information on the processing elements included in the target processing element group. An incorporation determining part determines a set of processing elements to be incorporated in the target processing element group on the basis of the information on the incorporation of the correspondence information. An updating part updates the processing elements included in the target processing element group and the correspondence information of the processing elements included in the target processing element group based on the set of processing elements. A processing sequence determining part determines the processing sequence of the processing elements included in the target processing element group updated on the basis of the information on the change in processing sequence in the correspondence information updated.
