Abstract:
A wind energy generator using a piezoelectric material and an auxiliary mechanism thereof are disclosed. The wind energy generator comprises the auxiliary mechanism and the piezoelectric material. The auxiliary mechanism comprises a wind collecting device and a wind driving device. The wind collecting device is used for collecting a wind and increasing the wind speed. The wind driving device cooperates with the wind collecting device to receive the wind. The piezoelectric material contacts with the wind driving device. When the wind collecting device receives the wind, the piezoelectric material is vibrated by the wind via the wind driving device to generate an electric power.

Abstract:
A wireless communication system, an apparatus, and a method for transmitting information to describe network topology of the wireless communication system in a mobile multi-hop relay standard are disclosed. The system can either be a two-hop relay station system or a multi-hop relay station system. The apparatus can use a CDMA ranging code set to transmit information and manage other apparatuses of the wireless communication system under a mobile multi-hop relay standard. The CDMA ranging code set comprises a mobile station (MS) code set and a relay station (RS) code set. The MS code set is used to transmit information from the MS to the base station (BS). Likewise, the RS code set is used to transmit information from the RS and the BS.
Abstract:
A piezoelectric linear motor apparatus and method is provided. The apparatus comprises a carriage configured to be actuated and a stator configured to actuate the carriage. The stator comprises a meander line structure and a gear teeth structure, coupled to the top of the meander line structure and a contact layer underneath the carriage. Furthermore, the meander line structure comprises a series of bimorph actuators laid linearly in the meander line structure. Each pair of neighboring bimorph actuators being linked with a corresponding connector on both sides of top and bottom. The meander line structure also comprises an odd series of connectors and an even series of connectors, interleaved with each individual connector, applied with phase-splitter's alternating current (AC) power to deform the bimorph actuators for generating traveling wave. The gear teeth structure is configured to transport traveling wave from the meander line structure to the carriage.
Abstract:
A nonlinear hysteresis control system for controlling an actuator with nonlinear hysteresis effect is disclosed. An improved extended hysteresis effect profile further stores the displacement when a applied voltage of the actuator is from 0 voltage to a specific voltage and back to that specific voltage. Therefore, the system can be used under the condition of not very slow motion of the actuator.
