摘要: Modem coding and modulation techniques have greatly improved the transmission and reception of signals. A method is described including receiving a signal de-mapping the signal into a first and second substream, decoding the first and second substream using a low density parity check decoding process, and combining the first and second decoded substream into a single data stream. An apparatus is described including a symbol de-mapper that receives a signal de-maps the modulation symbols in the signal into a first and second substream, a first decoder that decodes the first substream using a low density parity check coding process at a first decoding rate, a second decoder that decodes the second substream at a second encoding rate, and a combiner that combines the first substream and the second substream into a single data stream.

摘要: The present invention relates to mobile communications, and discloses a method and device for requesting and allocating connection point addresses. Therefore, transmission errors of subsequent messages of a terminal are avoided when the MIP registration of the terminal fails. The method includes: receiving a request for an IP address from a terminal and a MIP registration result of the terminal; and returning a response indicative of IP address allocation failure if the registration result is registration failure.

摘要: A method for operating a mobile equipment (ME 10) in a wireless network (12) includes receiving from a wireless network a parameter that is indicative of a signal quality experienced by the ME, such as by determining a speed of the ME; calculating in the ME an indication of link quality, the calculation employing a filtering operation having a filter length that is a function of the determined parameter, such as speed or derivative of the speed of the ME; and reporting the calculated indication of link quality to the wireless network. The wireless network derives an indication of ME speed and transmits the speed indication to the ME using a point-to-point message.

摘要: Modern coding and modulation techniques have greatly improved the transmission of signals. A method is described including receiving a stream of data bits, demultiplexing the stream into a first and second substream, encoding the first and second substream using a low density parity check coding process, and mapping the first substream to a first region of a symbol constellation map and the second substream to a second region. Also, an apparatus is described including a demultiplexer that produces a first and second bitstream, a first encoder that encodes the first substream using a low density parity check coding process at a first encoding rate, a second encoder that encodes the second substream at a second rate, and a symbol mapper that maps bits from the first substream to a first region of a symbol constellation map and maps bits from the second substream to a second region.

摘要: A method, system, and apparatus for diagnosing a route in a network based on a Diameter protocol are provided. The method includes the following steps. A source Diameter node generates a diagnosis message and sends it. An intermediate Diameter node adds diagnosis information thereof to the diagnosis message after receiving it and forwards it until the diagnosis message is forwarded to a Diameter server capable of processing the diagnosis message or a Diameter node incapable of forwarding the diagnosis message. The Diameter server or the Diameter node generates a response message and sends it carrying diagnosis information thereof, information in the diagnosis message, and a response type. The intermediate Diameter node adds the diagnosis information thereof to the response message after receiving it, and forwards it until the response message is forwarded to the source Diameter node. The source Diameter node parses the response message to obtain route related information.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an apparatus, and a proxy server for selecting cache replacement policies to reduce manual participation and switch cache replacement policies automatically. The method includes: obtaining statistical data of multiple cache replacement policies that are running simultaneously; and switching, according to an event of policy decision for cache replacement policies and the statistical data, an active cache replacement policy to a cache replacement policy that complies with a policy decision requirement. The automatic switching of cache replacement policies lowers the technical requirements on administrators. In addition, in the operation process of a proxy cache, a cache replacement policy that is applicable to a current scenario and meets a performance expectation of a user can be selected automatically, so as to make the technical solution feature good adaptability. Compared with the existing solution in which only a cache replacement policy is used throughout, the technical solution of the present invention can improve the performance of the proxy cache.
