Abstract: This invention discloses a physical exercise appliance comprising an indicator device for selectively indicating exercise data or heart-pulse frequency data of the user or exerciser during the application of his physical energy. A circuit is provided for alternately indicating the exercise data and the heart-pulse frequency data on the indicator device at predetermined intervals when the indication of exercise data is designated.
