Abstract: In an electric braking device for a vehicle, the following are carried out in order: a first lock process in which either torque for shifting the ratchet gear in a release direction is generated in an electric motor or the driving of the electric motor is stopped, while a pawl member is being pressed against a ratchet gear; a second lock process in which the rotational angle of the ratchet gear is brought to an angle different from a semi-engaging rotational angle by driving the electric motor; and a third lock process in which the ratchet gear is rotated in the release direction by driving the electric motor in reverse.

Abstract: A braking control device controllable in cooperation with a regenerative brake includes a case member fixed to the master cylinder, a first electric motor fixed to the case member, a second electric motor fixed to the case member independently of the first electric motor, a linearly movable input rod mechanically connected to the braking operation member, an output rod which presses pistons in the master cylinder and which is linearly movable in parallel with a central axis of the input rod, a differential mechanism which receives output from the first and second electric motors, is allowed to relatively move between the input rod and the output rod, and is built in the case member, and a controller which controls the output from the first electric motor and the output from the second electric motor to independently control force acting on the input rod and displacement of the output rod.

Abstract: Provided is an electric braking device wherein a friction member is pressed, via a piston driven by an electric motor, against a rotary member that rotates integrally with a vehicle wheel, thus generating a braking force on the vehicle wheel. The electric braking device is provided with: a controller for controlling the electric motor; a rotation angle sensor for detecting a rotation angle of the electric motor; and a return mechanism for applying a return force to a piston in a direction away from the rotary member. Furthermore, the controller executes a proper/improper determination to determine whether the return mechanism is operating properly on the basis of a change in the rotation angle after conduction of electricity to the electric motor is stopped.

Abstract: This braking control device comprises a differential mechanism, a first electric motor that generates assisting force in a braking operation member, a second electric motor that adjusts output rod shift of the differential mechanism, and a controller that controls the first and second electric motors. In the controller, the first electric motor is controlled on the basis of an assistance map in which the assisting force is calculated, and the second electric motor is controlled on the basis of a displacement map in which the output rod shift is calculated. When the displacement map is changed, the assistance map is corrected as well.

Abstract: This braking control device feeds by pressure a braking fluid from a master cylinder to a wheel cylinder, to generate a braking force in a wheel. The braking control device is provided with an input rod; an output rod; first and second electric motors; and first and second racks forming a differential mechanism. When the outputs of the first and second electric motors are controlled, the operation power of the input rod and the displacement of the output rod are controlled independently of each other. Here, in the second rack, the movement, in a backward direction, in response to decrease of a master cylinder fluid pressure is limited within a range of a predetermined displacement by means of two stoppers.

Abstract: The braking control device generates braking force by operating an electric motor to press a friction member against a wheel-fixed rotary member. The braking control device includes: a wheel speed sensor detecting wheel speed; a rotation angle sensor detecting a motor rotation angle; a drive circuit driving the motor; and a controller controlling the drive circuit. The controller sets a current limit circle within d-axis/q-axis current characteristics of the motor based on specifications of the drive circuit, calculates a voltage limit circle within the d-axis/q-axis current characteristics based on the rotation angle, executes slip suppression control for reducing the degree of wheel slip based on the wheel speed, calculates d-axis and q-axis target current values based on intersection points of the current limit circle and the voltage limit circle when execution of slip suppression control begins, and controls the drive circuit based on the d-axis and q-axis target current values.

Abstract: This electric braking device transmits power generated by an electric motor to a pressing member and causes pressing force to be generated by the pressing member with respect to a friction member. The electric braking device includes a lock mechanism. A locked state (in which movement of a locked section in a direction in which pressing force decreases is impossible) is achieved in the lock mechanism by: performing “supplied power amount reduction control” in which the amount of power supplied to the electric motor is reduced while a locking member is maintained in a lockable position; causing the locked section to move in the direction in which pressing force decreases; and causing the locking member and the locked section to engage. When performing supplied power amount reduction control, the amount of power supplied is first reduced by a large reduction gradient and then reduced by a small reduction gradient.
