Abstract: Device for checking the integrity of a digital transmission for an analog output of a system. The analog output may be checked for transient errors that can be attributed to a digital transmission path embedded somewhere within the vehicle system. A test signal is introduced into a digital transmission that can be reassembled from an analog path of the analog output, and, if not, allows the test device to pinpoint that errors are appearing due to the digital path, and not because of the analog output. In this way, debugging an installation of a system becomes easier; obtaining confidence in reliability of a mixed analog and digital system becomes less of a challenge and less time consuming.

Abstract: A current display system comprises a plurality of computer blades, interconnected with each other and each hosting a graphics processor and a plurality of virtualized operating systems (OS) run by an hypervisor and sharing said graphics processor. Each computer blade is connected directly to a set of display devices including a part of a plurality of display devices. All computer blades are connected to all the display devices. Each virtualized OS runs a global compositor instance and at least one application. The global compositor instance of a first virtualized OS transmits a graphical output to a display device driven by a second virtualized OS, via the global compositor instance of said second virtualized OS, so that an application content from an application run by said first virtualized OS is displayed on said second display device.

Abstract: A data processing system includes a sensor data acquisition circuit configured to acquire sensor data from at least one sensor and a server circuit configured to receive the sensor data from the sensor data acquisition circuit and to forward the sensor data to a processing unit. The sensor data transmission path from the sensor data acquisition circuit to the server circuits might be setup as a static configuration. Any physical connection issue between the sensor data acquisition circuits and the server circuits would force the system to pre-defined data routing configurations.

Abstract: A signal comprising a succession of first bit sequences Xn is generated. Each Xn with n≥1 is determined from the preceding Xn−1 using a deterministic algorithm P. The signal is transmitted from a transmitter through the communication system and received as a second bit sequence Xn′ by a receiver. For each received Xn′, the method comprises determining a first group of candidates corresponding to a plurality of possible first bit sequences Xn,i that could have been sent from the transmitter device and changed into the second bit sequence Xn′ according to an acceptable modification in the communication system; determining a second group of candidates from candidates determined for the preceding index n−1 and using P; determining a third group of candidates by intersecting the first group of candidates and the second group of candidates; checking the third group.
