摘要: Disclosed is an antenna desensitization system and a method for designing an antenna desensitization system. The system and method are operative to provide a configuration and positioning of an antenna desensitizer element, with respect to an antenna, to overcome a frequency detuning experienced during operation of such antenna. The antenna desensitizer element comprises one or a combination of more than one decoupling components selected from the group of a frequency selective surface, an electromagnetic band gap structure, a ferromagnetic material, an anisotropic material, a nanomaterial, a dielectric material, and a conductive material. The system and method are particularly suitable for reducing the antenna frequency detuning effects caused by an external agent, such as a user or operator of a mobile electronics device, during operation of such device.

摘要: A wideband patch antenna (90) is presented that comprises a patch (91) which is of pure metallic form or etched on a dielectric, that may be rectangular, elliptical, triangular, or any other shape. The patch is disposed a distance above a ground plane (92) and is driven by a helix-shaped or a three-dimensional probe (94) disposed between the patch and the ground plane. The probe is substantially normal to the ground plane. In addition, a plurality of such patch antennas may be combined to form antenna arrays or dual-band antenna structures.

摘要: Disclosed is an antenna capable of operating at more than one frequency band. The antenna comprises a first main helix antenna element and a second parasitic helix antenna elements electromagnetically coupled to integrate a single radiofrequency connection structure operating in dual frequency bands. The antenna is designed to be compact and reduce size, weight, and cost, while increasing versatility as compared to equivalent single-band frequency antennas designed using traditional design techniques.
