Abstract: An actuator comprises a motor including a rotation shaft; an output shaft disposed coaxially to the rotation shaft; a rotation shaft side gear rotatable as a unit with the rotation shaft; an output shaft side gear rotatable as a unit with the output shaft; an intermediate gear configuration body that includes a first intermediate gear and a second intermediate gear and that meshes with the rotation shaft side gear and the output shaft side gear; a first bearing supporting an end portion of the intermediate gear configuration body at a side of the first intermediate gear; and a second bearing supporting another end portion of the intermediate gear configuration body at a side of the second intermediate gear; wherein the second intermediate gear is rotatable as a unit with the first intermediate gear and is disposed further to a radial direction outside of the motor than the first intermediate gear.

Abstract: An actuator includes a motor having a rotation shaft, and an output shaft disposed coaxially to the rotation shaft. A rotation shaft side gear is provided so as to be rotatable as a unit with the rotation shaft, and an output shaft side gear is provided so as to be rotatable as a unit with the output shaft. An intermediate gear configuration body is provided between the rotation shaft side gear and the output shaft side gear. The intermediate gear configuration body includes a first intermediate gear that meshes with the rotation shaft side gear, and a second intermediate gear that is provided so as to be rotatable as a unit with the first intermediate gear and that meshes with the rotation shaft side gear. A detected portion is provided at an end portion of the intermediate gear configuration body and detects a rotation speed of the intermediate gear configuration body. A detecting portion detects the detected portion. The rotation shaft side gear, the first intermediate gear, the second intermediate gear, and the output shaft side gear are housed inside a gear housing that is disposed at one side in an axial direction of the motor, and the detecting portion is disposed outside of the gear housing.

Abstract: A vehicular wiper device includes a first wiper arm, a first drive source, a rocking mechanism, a second drive source, an extension and retraction mechanism, and a control unit. A first wiper blade for wiping a surface to be wiped of a vehicle is connected to the front end of the first wiper arm. The first drive source is directly or indirectly affixed to the vehicle body. The rocking mechanism is driven by the drive force of the first drive source and reciprocates and rocks the first wiper arm. The second drive source is directly or indirectly affixed to the vehicle body separately from the first drive source. The extension and retraction mechanism is driven by the drive force of the second drive source and extends and retracts the first wiper arm in the longitudinal direction thereof. The control unit controls the drive of the first drive source and the second drive source so that the extension and retraction operation of the first wiper arm performed by the extension and retraction mechanism will correspond to the rocking operation of the first wiper arm performed by the rocking mechanism.
