Abstract: A processing system having at least one processor may establish a communication session between a first communication system of a first user and a second communication system of a second user, the communication session including first video content of a first physical environment of the first user and second video content of a second physical environment of the second user, determine a first visualization action for a first physical object in the first physical environment in accordance with a first configuration setting of the first user for the communication session, obtain the first video content from a first camera of the first communication system, detect the first physical object in the first video content, and perform the first visualization action to modify the first video content. The processing system may then transmit first visualization information including the first video content that is modified to the second communication system.

Abstract: A processing system having at least one processor may establish a communication session between a first communication system of a first user and a second communication system of a second user, the communication session including first visual content, the first visual content including a first visual representation of the first user, and detecting a first action of the first visual representation in the first visual content in accordance with a first action detection model. The processing system may modify, in response to the detecting the first action, the first visual content in accordance with a first configuration setting of the first user for the communication session, which may include modifying the first action of the first visual representation of the first user in the first visual content. In addition, the processing system may transmit the first visual content that is modified to the second communication system of the second user.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method that includes obtaining metadata from media content and consumed by network subscribers; determining for each network subscriber a consumer context associated with the media content; and determining a media consumption pattern for each network subscriber based on the metadata and the consumer context, thereby generating a plurality of media consumption patterns. The method further includes aggregating the media consumption patterns; determining, based on the aggregated media consumption patterns, a media consumption trend for the network subscribers; and correlating the media consumption trend with a profile including a current activity for a network subscriber of the plurality of network subscribers, thereby generating a recommendation for the network subscriber regarding new media content not previously consumed by the network subscriber. The method also includes communicating the recommendation to the network subscriber. Other embodiments are disclosed.

The processing system may further obtain a three-dimensional object model of the first object, texture map the first object to the three-dimensional object model of the first object to generate an enhanced three-dimensional object model of the first object, and modify the volumetric video to include the enhanced three-dimensional object model of the first object in the location of the first object within the space of the volumetric video.

Abstract: In one example, a method performed by a processing system in a telecommunications network includes acquiring live footage of an event, acquiring sensor data related to the event, wherein the sensor data is collected by a sensor positioned in a location at which the event occurs, extracting an analytical statistic related to a target participating in the event, wherein the extracting is based on content analysis of the live footage and the sensor data, filtering data relating to the target based on the analytical statistic to identify content of interest in the data, wherein the data comprises the live footage, the sensor data, and data relating to historical events that are similar to the event, and generating computer-generated content to present the content of interest, wherein when the computer-generated content is synchronized with the live footage on an immersive display, an augmented reality media is produced.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and computer readable-media for temporally adaptive media playback. The method for adaptive media playback includes estimating or determining an amount of time between a first event and a second event, selecting media content to fill the estimated amount of time between the first event and the second event, and playing the selected media content possibly at a reasonably different speed to fit the time interval. One embodiment includes events that are destination-based or temporal-based. Another embodiment includes adding, removing, speeding up, or slowing down selected media content in order to fit the estimated amount of time between the first event and the second event or to modify the selected media content to adjust to an updated estimated amount of time. Another embodiment bases selected media content on a user or group profile.

Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media, and devices are disclosed for providing a notification of an anomaly in a media content that is associated with an event type. For example, a method may include a processing system including at least one processor for detecting a first anomaly from a first media content, generating a first anomaly signature for the first anomaly, obtaining a notification of a first event, the notification including an event type, time information, and location information of the first event, correlating the first anomaly to the notification of the first event, and labeling the first anomaly signature with the event type. Abstract: Devices, computer-readable media, and methods for assembling a course for a subject are described. For example, a method may include a processing system having at least one processor identifying a plurality of content segments of a plurality of content sources of a subject having greater than a threshold similarity, and determining that a first topic is part of a core topic of the subject based upon a number of instances of the first topic within the plurality of the content segments. The processing system may then receive a request from a user device for a course for the subject, assemble the course for the subject including at least one of the plurality of the content segments having the first topic that is determined to be part of the core topic, and present the course to the user device.
