摘要: The described technology is generally directed towards a composite HARQ-ACK response that contains information corresponding to a current HARQ-ACK composed with one or more previous HARQ-ACKs in a single uplink transmission. As a result, even with a HARQ-ACK repetition factor greater than one, the network is able to schedule the user equipment in consecutive time intervals as if the repetition factor was one (that is, as if no repetition).

摘要: Facilitating receiver beamforming and antenna panel switching in advanced networks (e.g., 4G, 5G, and beyond) is provided herein. Operations of a system can comprise performing a receiver beam evaluation procedure that determines whether a receiving beam is to be changed from a first receiving beam to a second receiving beam. The operations can also comprise transmitting, to a network device, a request for permission to perform a beam management procedure that switches the receiving beam from the first receiving beam to the second receiving beam. Further, the operations can comprise receiving, from the network device, a response to the request. The response can comprise an indication of an action to be performed based on a result of the receiver beam evaluation procedure.

摘要: The disclosed subject matter relates to employing modulation layer mapping to improve the performance of multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) communication systems. In one embodiment, a method comprises determining, by a device comprising a processor, codeword information in association with establishment of a wireless communication link with a network device of a wireless communication network, wherein the device and the network device are configured to communicate via the communication link using a MIMO communication scheme. The determining the codeword information comprises determining a code rate and determining a number of modulation indexes for the code rate based on signal-to-noise ratios respectively associated with channel layers included in the MIMO communication scheme. The method further comprises sending, by the device, the codeword information to the network device via a control channel of the wireless communication link.

摘要: According to an embodiment, a system can comprise a processor and a memory that can store executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations. The operations can include generating a first signal in an initial domain and transforming the first signal into a first portion of a time-frequency grid of a time-frequency domain, resulting in a transformed first signal. The operations further include combining the transformed first signal with a second signal of a second portion of the time-frequency grid, resulting in a combined signal, and transmitting the combined signal to a user equipment device for a further transformation. The operations further include receiving a response signal from the user equipment device that was configured, based on the further transformed first signal.

Further, the operations can include, based on a mapping of the third transmission scheme to a fourth transmission scheme in a mapping reference, selecting the fourth transmission scheme for the first portion of the control signal, and transmitting the control signal.

摘要: A test transmission can be used to train and/or select a signal. For example, a cellular network can configure a receiver with a recommended receiver signal sweeping pattern for mobile devices. A transmitter device can duplicate a data packet transmission and send it to a receiver device to ensure that the receiver can receive the duplicated packets from different signals. Consequently, the duplicated data packet can be indicated in the associated control channel so that the receiver is aware that the data packet is a duplicated transmission, and based on this info and configuration data, the receiver can select a more favorable signal.

摘要: The same or similar physical signals can be used for both user equipment (UE) and an integrated access backhaul (IAB) node. Different configurations of resources and/or transmission periods of the signals can be used for initial access for access UEs and IAB nodes. In addition, since the UE functionality for IAB nodes is not fully identical with access UEs, the network can identify which UEs performing initial access are normal access UEs or are IAB nodes with UE functionality. Furthermore, the parameters for configuring radio resource management operation at the IAB node gNode B function can consider a half-duplex constraint imposed by the UE function and can also analyze hop order and other topology/route management functionalities.
